champouf posted Cheer For Life~ on Sunday, December 11, 2011 On Friday evening, my dearest daughter participated in a Cheer video taken by professionals and the video will be shown during the Countdown to 2012! :) Amazing right? Of course she was not the only one, she participated along with Kosmos :) As parents, we went down to Esplanade to support our dearest daughter :) Kosmos started their warm up, stretching and dry-run around 5pm while Baby was spotting, and I was the photographer! Heehee. Here are some pictures of their dry-run! Here is Danielle, a gymnast, as the flyer :) A very nice split right!! :D Now is my daughter's turn! :D B-toss~! Xueyi doing a 180degrees-elevator :) POP! This is Wena(if I'm not wrong), one of the more experienced Cheerleaders and her B-toss-pike is super nice! Sad I couldn't catch it on camera!! :( Here they are getting ready for the camera! :) Posing for the camera while the host asks Jeremy some questions about Kosmos. Here is the part which Baby loves doing the most! :) CUPIE WITH VV! I managed to finally got it on camera! Yes!!!!! :D Haha, I promised my daughter and Baby that I will get one of their cupie shots on camera and I did! YAY I'm so proud of them (and myself too for snapping this amazing shot haha!) :D:D Here is one of the stronger bases who almost joined Gusto. Such a waste because he could learn so much! But his determination is there and you can totally see his muscles bulging out LOL :) He has really high expectations of himself and I'm sure he will be able to meet them! Jiayous :) Hanxian (a super unglam guy) with Vv doing single extension :) Talking about Hanxian brings me to another topic. He is truly one unglam (but funny!) guy! And here is a super funny shot I took of him! :D HAHA unglam right! Paiseh my camera(purposely) focused on the background instead of his face. Heehee :) And something quite funny happened too. While they were filming the performance, two male Singaporean bloggers came up to Baby and I and asked some questions about Kosmos and us. They asked why we were not performing and Baby jokingly said we were retired... Hahaha and he did ask us the age range etc. So I told him that the youngest would be around Vivian's age and the oldest was Jeremy. We joked around a bit and shared a bit of light on Kosmos and how it was founded etc :) It felt awesome to be interviewed. HAHAHA but Jeremy did not find it amusing because he was interviewed by a host in front of a camera and he was practically super nervous. For Baby and I, we were interviewed behind camera, so we didn't have to worry about saying anything stupid or doing some unglam action etc :P All in all, it was a super awesome day! :) Dennis and Charmaine came and joined us for dinner after the performance and we just sat around talking, crapping, and laughing. It felt nice to fellowship with them after so many months of not training with them. Even though some things changed quite a bit while Baby and I were gone, but I somehow rekindled my love for Cheerleading and after Baby and I come back from our trip around 12th-15th January 2012, we are going to do some hardcore training for Cheer :) Until then, we are now just relaxing, taking a break and chilling out before the real shit comes about :P Hahaha.
