" Every girl's dream lies in a wardrobe of clothes ... "
Talking about clothes, I've been quite obsessed with winter clothing. I know I shouldn't shop before going overseas because I can always find better varieties of winter clothes over there, but old habits die hard, and since mine is more of an obsession, I guess some things are just left better alone. Hahahahah :P
Chengling has been pretty hooked onto ordering from ASOS too, and my express delivery just arrived this afternoon, which kind of messed up my afternoon plans. I was supposed to go with Baby and his client, Mr.Wang, to the IT show at Expo, but after tracking my order and realizing that they are delivering my parcel today, I had to stay home to sign for it. So I didn't go to the IT show in the end.
And so my parcel did arrive and I was soooo happy with my purchase (like duh!) and this time my darling Baby joined me in the shopping too! Hahahaha :)
This is the Foldover Military Boots Babe bought. It is something which he has never tried out before since he is not really the kind who would go clothes-shopping, but I'm really impressed he has such a keen eye for clothes that actually suit him! Hahaha, believe me, some guys can pull off a certain look, while others just look ridiculous. I guess everything has to do with body-shape/size and even facial features :) And when Baby tried on this pair today, I thought it looked wonderful ... Even though he has such fat thighs LOL!
When I first laid eyes on this blouse, I was just so compelled to get it. And I did! Hahahaha, I guess I have a soft spot for looks such as this :P
And well, I bought another cardigan because the other one I bought was a tad too long (reached my knees!) and it was made of super thick wool-material that makes it ridiculous to wear in Singapore. The only sensible place to wear it in Singapore would be SNOW CITY. And I hate that place. LOL.
Here are the mittens which I thought was super cute and the material is so freaking soft and nice to touch!!!!!!!! I could just place my face over it and sleep on it. LOL. Thank goodness it was on sale! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :P
And that was all from ASOS :P But that is not the end of the shopping list. Baby bought the NIKON D7000 DSLR today which was meant for the trip. Hahahaha because Baby and I wanted to have a good camera to retain all the wonderful memories of us spending the holidays with our two families, so he bought this camera specially for this trip. Hahahaha crazy isn't it? :P And he and his client did something really funny at the IT show ... Because Baby had so many things to carry besides the camera, the two of them agreed that it would be quite troublesome to carry all of those around the crowded stuffy hall, so his client went to buy a Canon Printer just so that he can get the trolley (as a free gift) to let Baby push his stuff around with ease. HAHAHA. How I describe the entire scenario does not do justice because when his client explained to me over dinner, I was laughing like mad, at the same time, trying to contain myself a little. HAHAHA :P If I have the chance to try out the camera, I would definitely post some of the pictures up here :) It is going to be a blast! But first, I have to read up the super thick manual inside :(
In a sweet wonderful addition, my Prada tote is flying from Europe/London and will be arriving in Singapore on either the 1st or 2nd of December, which makes me ever the more excited for December to arrive :P Heehee. I wanted to get the Cream/White Prada tote but I'm afraid that it might be difficult to clean especially when I'm so clumsy and always ending up destroying my bags LOL. So black it is! :P Baby is also in the midst of anticipating because he also has his Prada Wallet and Money Clip coming along~ Hahahaha, such an exciting month after the dreadful Alevels :P But I'm still deciding whether I should bring the bag along with me to China, because I'm afraid it might attract the wrong crowd or something LOL. Not meaning anything offensive but Baby also did warn me about his own hometown. :(
SO, after Baby came back from the IT show and trying out his new boots, he left again for Bugis to do his own stuff, which I prepared (bathe and whatnot) and left the house at 4plus to go meet him at Bugis. We cabbed from there to fetch Mr.Wang to have dinner together.
Today we ate at some Korean restaurant which was REALLY GOOD! Even though the 90% of the food was super spicy, I still had my share of awesome-ness :) Sadly I didn't manage to take any pictures because I was not really in the mood to do so since I was sneezing non-stop thanks to my flu again! :( The bbq beef was especially tasty along with the crispy fish which was cooked to such perfection that the bones were so soft and chewable :D I also had a taste of Korean wine which was really churning up the heat in my stomach - so much so that even my face was red. Hahahaha. But it did a good job in helping me cure a bit of the flu as I felt much better soon after :) All in all, it was a super awesome meal thanks to Mr.Wang :) I'm quite glad that Baby has found such a nice friend/business-colleague like Mr.Wang who is a super affable guy (I think I mentioned it before some time ago LOL) and probably the second person from China (besides Baby!) whom I can understand his conversation. Hahahaha, Baby's other friends speak in such weird or unique accents that I can't catch/understand what they are saying, and my Chinese is not very good either you know! LOL.
After dinner, we deciced to head home early. But Baby and I went back to Bugis where I finally decided to buy this super awesome book. DOUBLE DEXTER :) Yep, it is the novel that was propelled to release the hit-television-series Dexter :) When I read the synopsis of the book, it seemed that there wasn't any episode on it (I actually read the summary beforehand.. another bad habit of mine :P) so I bought it! :D The book is about Dexter having a copy-cat who was following his ideals of killing the 'evil ones' and it seemed that he was bent on killing Dexter. And it just boggles my mind! So I just have to have it :) Hahahahahaha, looks like I have something to do on the plane while traveling overseas.
All in all, it was a super awesome day! I get to get my stuff on time, got a new camera, ate a super awesome meal, and got myself a morbid mind-twisting novel to keep myself occupied. Life can not get any better! :D:D:D:D (not to mention my Prada stuff coming soon~) Heehee, Alevels ending seems like a REALLY SWEET DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Well, that is all I have for today~ Toodles~ And all the best to my dearest friends taking Physics/Chemistry MCQs :)
