Shiro is just so kawaii~ :P
And my grandfather's operation has finally commenced. I'm feeling nervous, anxious, just dying in suspense. I really do pray everything goes well with his operation.
Yesterday my family went down to visit him except for Baby as he had to meet his clients. But he gave me money to buy a fruit basket for him ... which was quite fail because my grandpa cannot eat anything solid before his operation................... But he still thanked Baby for his kind gestures :) Heehee.
Anyways, my younger brother and I went there quite early to just chat with him since staying in the hospital was really boring. And Joel and I had never fail so much in our lives before. Our grandfather has two names, one is his IC name and the other is his Christian name. But my family and I are so used to calling him by his Christian name ... Moving on, Joel and I went to register ourselves as visitors first, and when the nurse asked us what was our relation to him (because visiting hours were at 5pm, but family has the authority to go in any time before that) ... and we said we were his grandchildren. Then she asked us what his name was ... we were stunned. And Joel happily said my grandpa's Christian name which was not the name he used to register into the hospital. The nurse gave us this wth-look, then she denied us early access and asked us to wait till 5pm. WTS.
So I called my grandmother down to fetch us up and woah, she scolded the person for denying us access since we are his grandchildren, then the person reluctantly let us go up! HAHAHAHAHA :P Power sia. But still, it was our fault for saying the wrong name..... LOL.
And so we chatted with our grandparents until my parents came along with my elder brother. Seeing he was still in his uniform, he got lots of stares... HAHAHAHA. Super awkward.
I really had fun spending time with my grandparents - they shared a lot of their hospital experiences which were quite funny. My grandfather was also a joker, when the nurse came in to help him with his blood transfusion, he exclaimed that his blood was A-special! HAHAHA. Actually his blood type is A+, but he always regarded it like a school test when a student gets A+, his result is considered as A-special! :) And the nurses were all laughing along with his joke - which is quite a relief to know that the nurses are affable and humorous. I've always pictured them to be stern, grumpy and really full of hatred (stereotypes right!).
We stayed there till 7plus before we decided to head home and give my grandfather some time to rest before his operation tomorrow. Oh, and before we left, we prayed for him too. It was awesome to know how united my family is even in times of tribulation :) Go TAN-FAMILY! LOL.
Before heading home, Joshua made a pit-stop to buy his baking ingredients.. I tell you he is dead-serious about becoming a professional baker/cook. I'm like ... I love to bake too! But seeing how little time I have these past few weeks, I'm like "to hell with it"... HAHAHAHA.
Well of course, I am going to take up baking again after Alevels. Hahaha :) All the best to me~
That's all for today I guess? LOL.
Toodles~
