" Just in case you didn't know, I'm back into Cheer again after many months of serious MIA. Well it was mostly because of my hibernation-like-holiday-trips, the CNY period and me working part-time. So far I have no qualms about my job because I just got another kid to tutor which means more ka-ching for me! $.$ Anyways, I'm here to post about the recent activities of my life to ensure that I am absolutely not dead *cues applause*. Today was Bob's enlisting and since it was in the morning, Baby and I head down to Pasir Ris to give him moral support and to send him off. Baby said it felt like he lost a good friend to the hands of evil ... not trying to say the government is evil ... just saying it as part of a good joke. And so, we spent Bob's last few relaxed days gyming and eating good food! First day, Baby brought Bob and I to a steamboat restaurant which Baby thought their ambiance was the best compared to the others. In addition, their service is worth to be complimented with a toast!! *I'm serious* Anyways, back to the story ... the three of us were starving since we skipped breakfast just to gym and we ended around 3pm. Our desperate journey from Dover to Bugis was just filled with complaints about being famished and what not ... but still, it was more of a joking-complaint (if that actually makes sense) ... AND my conclusion about that place is that everybody should really go and try it!!!! The name of the restaurant is 鲜得来 and if I remember correctly, it should be along the road opposite of Bugis Junction taxi stand. Good luck trying to find it, because when it comes to recognizing street names, I'm as clueless as it is :P Baby ordered a lot of plates and the good thing about it is that you pay per head instead of per plate, so Baby and Bob were literally spamming all the meat they could see. Obviously, I was eating shiitake the most cause it is my staple diet LOL who am I kidding ... But yea ... :) We ate/talk/laugh/take photos till for 2 hours!!!!! Yea we are that good ... actually NO, Baby is THAT GODLY when it comes to eating. It was no joke when he put on 10kg during the holidays - everything was just eat and eat with practically no limits! D: Fat ttm, but the good thing is that he managed to lose 7kg while I lost about 3kg .................... Ahems* PICTURE TIME! 
I feel so paiseh for only editing my picture with Bob, because I was too lazy to do the rest!!! Hahahaha, but its not like I photoshop myself to look skinny or have bigger boobs ... Unlike some people I know LMAO. But yea, I just like editing pictures to look vintage or cute, if you know what I mean :P

Of course mine is the non-chili one... Can you see how much chili the guys spammed inside? Horrendously inhumane I tell you. 
And these are SOME of the plates we ordered, as Baby took the liberty to order more after finishing his first few rounds of non-stop action :S 
Bob and I!!! :) Can you see how much more muscular Bob has become after Alvls? Too much time on his hands you know! Hahahaha. Baby and I were joking to him about how he should not put too much pressure on other recruits after seeing how buff Bob was. Lol. Bob came quite early so that we could just hang out at my house, and he was such a darling for not minding residing in my ultra-messy-room-with-clothes-piled-about-1m-high to chat. Not long after, the others came! And while we waited for my mother to finish with the last touches, we just sat around in the hall and talk. At first Raymond and Cheryl (Ray's 爱爱) thought my house was two hdb units combined into one, and I'm like ............ huh? I don't think the government would even allow such a thing. And I don't even think my house is big actually ... I guess after living in a house for so long, I just get used to it being 'cramped'. LOL. Anyways, we finally commenced on the eating and everybody somehow loved the sandwiches my mother prepared. Hahaha, I preferred the nuggets which were sinfully dipped in nacho cheese ... Oh-the-sensation-of-it-all just makes me tingle with delight. Sighs* Too bad I can only indulge once in a while since I'm still miraculously dieting D: And now, pictures! :) 
Here's the cute Cheryl-Raymond couple! :) Hahaha Cheryl is like super skinny and she keeps wanting to be fat, while Vivian and I were like ... "WE WANT TO BE SKINNY!!" Hahahaha classic :) And here you can also see Ray's standard smile!! :D 
Here's the feast my super-special-ultra-terrific-magnificent mother, grandmother and maid prepared! :) You can see that most plates are actually stained with nacho cheese... All you sinful people!!!! Hahaha not excluding me of course. 
Group photo!! :D I almost wore FBTS and singlet since I was at the comfort of my own house, but Baby talked me out of it and into wearing something presentable. Love the blouse btw - bought it from H&M~ :) 
Another group picture! And please pardon my cui smile. I slept at 2am the previous night as I had to tutor a kid who lives at Orchard Road and the tuition dragged on for 3.5hrs!!! Oh how I hated the feeling of trudging myself back home which was 15 stops away ..... At least I had Baby with me!! Yay!! Plus this kid whom I am tutoring is one good kid and I really respect both him and his mother in many ways .. so actually I don't really mind! Hahaha, just that paying adult fare now just somehow kills the joy in traveling D: But I digress .... Hahahaha. That concludes my birthday!! :D Baby actually wanted to bring me to this Paris restaurant, but I declined since I had no space left for dinner (we ended lunch pretty late), plus I just felt like staying at home and rest :) Still, I want to thank all my awesome friends for coming on time!!! Hahaha and spending such an important time with me :D Oh, and they gave me this story book which I'm dying to read after I'm done with my three thick books of DEXTER~! *Rubs hands with devious grin* That concludes my two most wonderful days spent with awesome friends. Whatever happens Bob, all the best in there!!!!
