champouf posted Lots of Love. on Monday, June 9, 2014 So as you all have known, I'm back to my lovely childhood home in Pasir Ris! :) Even though I'm still not accustomed to it, I'm still loving every moment of it!
It has indeed been eons since I've last spent time with my younger bro, and yesterday I finally got to do so!
At first, the bf, Jojo and moi wanted to try out Singapore very first and unique Cat Cafe called Neko no Niwa.. However after traveling there, we were somewhat disappointed. The cafe and the cats area are literally two separate rooms. Initially we thought that the cats were given the freedom to roam about, which makes the ambience ever more unique. However it felt more like a petting zoo, and the rates were a tad too overpriced. In addition, they didn't serve main courses, they only served the usual cakes and drinks: more towards the idea of afternoon tea.
Nevertheless this did not dampen our spirits. Since we were around the area of Clarke Quay, we decided to head to one of the bf and my favorite spots to eat @Central! The place is none other than our most liked Waraku Japanese Restaurant. Why? Their Japanese pizza is simply top-notch.
So anyways we made our way there in the sweltering heat and thank goodness when we reached there, the place was not crowded. And we managed to settle down pretty fast to order our items!
Jojo tried out their Macha and it was surprisingly good despite how simple it looked.
And this was basically our appetizer - Salmon pizza, clams with soup, a small salad, and lastly corn soup :)
Say hi to our main courses! Knowing me, the bf decided to share a dish with me and we ordered the Carbonara spaghetti. The younger bro ordered a well-done steak with his usual love of fries.
I've to say that every time we're here @Waraku, they never cease to amaze us. All the dishes were cooked to perfection that you practically see us gobbling down without much hesitation. And once again I've to give a double thumbs up for their perfectly baked salmon pizza. Even the cheese-to-crust ratio is too good to be true.
Anyways, after eating, we made our way to Bugis for the little bro to indulge in his shopping spree. As for me, I'm literally holding back all my shopping urges as I'll be heading overseas soon and I wouldn't want to spoil my appetite for that shopping spree! :) the shopping took quite a while and I finally understood le bf's pain of aching feet and sore ankles from walking for hours. But the shopping trip was still a huge success and Jojo was super satisfied with his purchases. (3 cheers for being such an amazing sistah!)
After shopping, we made our way back to Pasir Ris and before going home, I made little detour to my most favorite place when I was a child - the playground @ the park opposite the house. I would always accompany my mother for a slow job around the park as she would bring me to the little playground where I would spend hours playing there. It sure was memorable...
Reliving my childhood memories is definitely something I wouldn't mind doing every now and then :)
Labels: Childhood memories, foodgalore, foodheaven champouf posted Hiatus- on Sunday, June 8, 2014 Hi all,
I know I've been on a super long hiatus that seems to be happening very very often. I do apologize for that.
I'm officially done with exams and have been busy setting up my own business website, trying to promote and gain more followers.
Things are still rather smooth with no hiccups whatsoever, and I'm really thankful for all those who have supported and encouraged me along the way, including my lovely bf.
So anyways all those aside, I just want to share with you all a super amazing Vietnam restaurant I've tried out at Chinatown Point.
Pardon the low resolution of my phone :P
So anyways this place is superb. Let me tell you about the awesome service: the waiters serve you with a smile and they literally treat you like a King. I have never faced such amazing service before. It is just fantastic.
Now I proceed on with the food.

The noodles is really top-notch. And the beef: OMG the meat is just so tender and juicy! It feels like Christmas in my mouth! And you would think the soup would be overwhelming with the mixture of their seasonings, that's where you are wrong. I'm not saying their soup is bland, but more like just right :)
The bf tried their coffee and it was quite a unique contraption. You have to let the coffee drip and drip and drip through the filter which you can see on top. Nevertheless, the coffee was great too. Not too bitter, not too sweet, and the bf didn't have the need to add anything inside it.
Lastly we tried their pancake with chicken and a side dish of some sugar cane in which I can't remember what it was. But the one that left the best memory was their pancake. I know they like to spam their bean sprouts and I'm not complaining! It makes such a healthy and tasty meal, in which I feel is a very good balance and something hard to find nowadays.
Overall, I had an amazing meal at this particular restaurant. Don't overlook this little eatery as it may seem small and simple, but their service coupled with their food will absolutely blow you away!
On another side note, with my current obsession with the whole #ootd thing, I want to share what I've worn for the past two days! Yay!
PS: loving the bf's new haircut! He has such a nice side view from the start and pairing with such a daring haircut, I can only say he looks manlier now :)
That's all from me today!

Because everybody deserves a break once in a while :)
Nothing calms me down more than having a chilling relaxing day all by myself at Starbucks. With my usual cup of green tea latte by my side, and a taste for something new - the brownie cake was just delightful.
Sometimes I wish that most of my days are filled with such peace like this.
champouf posted Good food for a good life :) on Sunday, March 23, 2014
Warning! This post is mostly about food so yea ... Enter at your own risk! Hahahaha.
I’ve always had a rather rocky love-hate relationship with good food. I love indulging in sinful delights, but I hate putting on weight. So the process of finding that balance of trying to keep in shape and yet enjoying myself has been quite a hefty task :/
Anyways, that aside, here are some of the pictures of my latest conquest! (:
I remembered le boyfie was craving for some Japanese ramen, so we headed to a shop located at Jurong West Gate (along the bridge of West Gate Mall and JEM) to satisfy his hunger pangs. If I remembered correctly, the ramen was just average (I have had better :P ), but the mushrooms we ordered were literally drenched in oil which we felt was utterly disgusting. So I guess, this is the very first and last time we would ever eat there :/
To be able to find good food at cheap prices is somehow quite a challenge especially with the rise of many major food chains/restaurants, along with their prices. But there is one shop located amidst other shops that deserves a shoutout! This is located at the kopitiam at the top floor of Jurong Point Mall. It may look simple but the price is not only super affordable, the food itself is really mouth-watering as well!
Mentai sashimi/salmon has always been one of my most favourites! And I’ve tried out so many different variations from various Japanese restaurants, and I have to say that Sakae Sushi still remains as one of the top five! (:
Another noteworthy dish from Sakae would be this sashimi dish (: I can’t remember exactly what the name of this dish is, but it comes with rice at the bottom as well!
The last dish from Sakae would be the boyfie’s favourite - mushrooms!
I’ve had my own fair share of Korean food ever since I entered University ... and I’ve to say that this stall offers one of the best Korean dishes I’ve ever tasted! (: The shop is located in the heart of Chinatown where it is famous for most of its Asian cuisines, and has most of the best Asian restaurants there as well. The boyfie was craving for Korean food so we went with this and my heart was immediately stolen!
Banzai to good food!!

It is nights such as these, that I stay awake, unable to sleep.
The silence is so palpable, and it sickens me to the bone.
Lately I've been stressed out with many issues.
But I can't do anything to make it fade.
My body says it is exhausted, but my mind is far from slumber.
I feel like an avalanche of responsibilities just towering over me.
But my ego stands in the way of assistance.
My mouth wants to scream for help, but my hands muffled my pleas.
Some times you just regret every decisions you've made.
Sadly, this is one of those times.
Pondering how things could be so different if you chose something else.
I feel lost.
I am lost.
I need a nudge, to tell me I'm heading in the right direction.
But all I get is a kick.
A kick back to the cruel reality that devours me so.
Reality is a bitch.
Most of the times, I just have to suck it up.
And mount reality like never before.
Because the moment is fleeting.
And time waits for no man/woman.
It will be tough, it will be challenging.
But that is what makes life worth living.
champouf posted 2014 on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 With the new year upon us, there is always a ritual in which everybody (or most of you) will partake in - New Year's Resolution! Sure the first month, everybody is hyped up about it, wanting to make that particular change in their lives ... However, slowly down the year, the majority will find themselves lacking the motivation, the willpower and most possible the time to keep up with their New Year's wishes. I am sad to say that I, too, am part of that majority. Every time I find myself struggling to hold myself true to what I've promised myself at the start, and temptations to give up are abundant.
But even so, the ritual is a part of the New Year's 'tradition'... So I'm going to uphold my part and write down my resolutions for the year 2014.
01. Lose Weight
I don't intend to lose drastically until I look malnourished, but I have always dreamed to be around the range of 42kg. I've managed to hit my goal weight of 45-46kg within the year 2013, but this second goal will go to prove my determination of eating healthy, regularly exercising and staying that way! :)
02. Try for a 3 Pass
Cheerleading has opened a new love for me and that is gymnastics! In the past year, I've learned so many new techniques and skills. Things like cartwheels, roundoff, spins here and there are something I have never tried before, but recently I am so happy that I've managed to do at least a decent round-off back tuck which is a 2-pass. So for 2014, I hope to see myself dedicating more of my time and effort in working on my passes.
03. Be a better Cook
Well, I've just started cooking and it is really harder than it seems. Staying in the school hostel alone doesn't make it better as I see myself consistently eating out instead :P So being a better cook will definitely help me in so many ways, one of which helps my first goal of eating healthy.
04. Study Harder
The year 2013 has been a tough year for me with regards to my studies ... So yes, I need to bury myself more in my books :/
That is all of my resolutions for the year 2014; I don't want to make so many resolutions because one sure fact is that it will only get harder and harder to keep those promises, but I will try my best to keep those true to myself :) Resolutions aside, here is what I did for my News Years!
The momsy and I went to Plaza Singapura to dig in with the SALES crowd, everywhere you go, HUGE discounts are just there for you. & the momsy and I haven't really checked out the newer side at PS, and I am starting to love PS more and more with JRunway and The Lowry's Farm. The most hyped we ever saw was at Tim Ho Wan - the queue literally ran for hours :S
After shopping like mad, the momsy went home to spend time with le grandmama, while I went to Chinatown to find the boyfie. At first we wanted to have a simple dinner of tofu noodles which is so damn good located at the basement, but in the end he had a sudden craving. We proceeded back to PS and he immediately rushed to Secret Recipe.
The boyfie bought the kids platter because he felt the mini burgers were too cute to resist, and in the end we couldn't finish our food because of this :P
I had a craving for something cheesy and baked, and because I was quite tired of eating baked rice, I got this instead! :) I give this 2 thumbs up - it is simple delightful.
& this is the boyfie's most favourite dish @ secret recipe, and he has ranked this along one of his top 10 list.
Desserts after an awesome meal makes it even more amazing - we went to Ji De Chi at the basement of PS and ordered our usual favourites. Mine was the shaved durian ice while the boyfie wanted to sink his teeth in a cool bowl of mango sago :)
Besides the grandeur of the fireworks, my New Year was pretty simple, but I loved it. Spending time with the loved ones is something I rather do any time.
Happy New Year everybody!
champouf posted Police Story 2013 on Sunday, December 29, 2013
I've been a fan of Jackie Chan since I was young, watching most of his more mainstream films such as the comedy series Rush Hour and Shanghai Noon/Knight, his animated Jackie Chan Adventures cartoons, The Medallion, and the list goes on. His most recent work Police Story 2013. I think many people will mistaken this as a continuation of his previous Police Story film in the year 2004 where he played an estranged cop who lost most of his workforce friends due to complacency, which marked the downward spiral of his career, and love-life. Police Story 2013 is based on a different storyline, one which I feel deserves more than a round of applause.

In this story, there are so many twists and turns of the plot that the first hour of the movie may seem rather confusing, but it is so intriguing that it pulls you in, making you dying to find out more. In the end, the plot is actually fairly simple, but the way Jackie Chan makes it, you feel as if he is wrapping the plot around your brain. It is truly a masterpiece.
I managed to catch this amazing film yesterday with the boyfie. The fighting scenes are definitely noteworthy, nothing less from a Jackie Chan production. The characters portrayal are fantastic as well. So I would definitely say it is a film you won't want to miss. As for me, Jackie Chan has always been my favourite kung-fu actor, mainly because he takes such pride in his works. I think many will know that even nearing his sixties, he still doesn't use a body double for his stunts and choreography. He just simply loves what he does so much. I will definitely recommend this to all!
champouf posted A little crack in the heart. on Thursday, December 26, 2013 From Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem In Memoriam:27, 1850:
I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
I believe many are familiar with this paragraph depicting how rewarding love can be for one. The past few days have been quite .. tedious for me, taking into account the fact that Christmas is a season of giving, and intimacy: be it with family members or your significant other. Unfortunately, my Christmas this year wasn't as merrily as I had hoped.
Many are too hard-headed to admit they have relationship problems, let alone write it on a blog. I am guilty of posting all my problems - relationship wise and so on, onto my blog. But not as a means to get back on my SO, but as a means of venting my anger and frustrations. You would have asked why not vent it on him instead? Or share it with him? Unfortunately I do not have such a luxury of sharing my feelings. I have to admit that I've been struggling the past few weeks in terms of my relationship; our fights are getting more frequent, we can't stand the sight of each other, and the term 'break up' has been used one too many as a threat to the other party. My relationship is never perfect, because I am imperfect. Many a times I find myself asking myself this question, "Is it really worth it?" The simplest solution (if you're unhappy, just break it off, no point risking your happiness for someone not worth it) is not always the easiest. But the worst part is that I can't share my feelings with anyone except this blog. I know how pathetic it sounds.
Backing up to the main topic; if I had the choice, I would choose never to have loved at all.
Choosing love means you are willing to open your heart to the other, making you vulnerable. And in my case, I am exceptionally vulnerable emotionally. I am one who has this need to share with someone, to connect with someone on a deeper level, going beyond physical intimacy. I need to be able to pour my feelings to him, knowing that he won't judge and won't push me away. But my partner is not the same person, he sees no need for sharing, he doesn't like to concern himself with such he deems as unnecessary. Even a toddler can tell that we are incompatible for one another. And that is something many have told me before. I've always regarded it as white noise, well ... until recently. I am beginning to see how incompatible we really are. We both want different things from each other, having different goals, personalities that are worlds apart etc. And the most important fact is that we don't put each other as our top priority. I used to do so, but only after realizing that I'm not the most important person in his life, I thought that I shouldn't torture myself as such.
It may seem that the most obvious answer is to break up - I would ... The problem lies in the fact that I still love him.
If only I had the strength to leave.
So if you asked me if it's better to have loved or lost than never to have loved at all ... My answer to you is this, if you aren't able to withstand the heartbreaks, the emotional warfare, the whole 'drama', it is truly better to have never loved at all. champouf posted ♥ from Japan on
This year Christmas was a rather simple one, and I wouldn't have asked for more ♥. I was especially elated when the boyfie was able to attend my family's christmas dinner this year even though he did mention that he might be unable to. & the gift he brought for my family was really delicious!
Say hello to this beautiful muskmelon which have been brought all the way from Japan! The boyfie bought this from Takashimaya that really explains the beautiful packaging.
After opening the box, you can see the dedication the people put into adorning this lovely fruit. & the melon itself is so round and pretty as well! I can safely say I have never seen such a pretty melon in my entire life.
What goes well with such an amazing fruit? Amazing wine of course! :)
You can really see how juicy the fruit is : the juices is literally oozing out!
Sinking my teeth in it was like a party in my mouth with it being so sweet and tender ♥ I really did enjoy every moment of eating it. I can really tell how professional the Japanese are in making such an exotic fruit : I've recently watched a documentary depicting the farmers' lives and how tedious the processes they had to undertake to produce such a sweet, celebrated fruit in Japan. & there is this quote in the documentary that really resided in me up till now, " Other countries make fruits (melons) to last, but the Japanese make fruits to taste. " It is so true. These fruits will only last up to 3 days for it to have the optimal taste. If I ever had the chance to go to Japan, I would definitely want to go to the specialized farming area to learn more on hand.
These musk melons can be found at the basement floor of Takashimaya, just right beside their food republic. They have an array of international products worth looking and tasting :)
This year Christmas is definitely the sweetest one yet! ♥

I've finally updated my blog after months of inactivity, and all in time for Christmas!
| MERRY CHRISTMAS | everybody! I am so glad that this year I finally managed to celebrate my favourite season of the year with my dearest loved ones - my family. My mother outdone herself this year making her famous oh-so-ever-delicious turkey! I was supposed to help her but I fell ill on the day before and I simply laid in bed (or sofa) the whole day :/ Oppsies me right. The moment I came back from Malaysia, I immediately fell sick with fever and really bad gastric pain.
Nonetheless, my mother and her kitchen helpers created a miracle and we all got to enjoy the most wonderful Christmas dinner ♥
The dinner isn't complete without fellowship from fellow friends and family members, and it is truly even more amazing to be able to share such a moment with people closest to you.
But of course, celebrating Christmas meant that the year is coming close to an end, in which there are many things and events to reflect upon. Frankly speaking, the year 2013 has been quite a tough year for me - basically anything that can go wrong have gone wrong in my life in the year 2013. I hope the year 2014 will be a better year, and I know I will have to work harder, pray harder and change certain aspects of my life to make myself a better person.
Putting all those depressing thoughts aside, Christmas is still a time to celebrate with joy and glee. So ... MERRY CHRISTMAS and may you all have another wonderful year ahead! ♥♥

The concept of 'LOVE' varies amongst different people, along different countries, brought up in different cultures. For me, love is a simple word, yet the feeling is complex. For the past many years, I've experienced with different kinds of love - such as the never-ending love from my family, the all gracious love from God, and of course the intimate love from my lovers. The early two has never struck me as something weird or funny, as it has been there and I have experienced it for as long as I had lived. However, the latter is another story.
My intimate love stems mainly from my previous boyfriends and of course my current one as well. However, the love I've experienced from each is different and unique in its own way. & even though I'm separated with my previous lovers, I know there is no doubt that love existed between us. Yet I am led to think that some times, not all love are different. Some are still the same - like as to how they show affection and care towards me, or even to how much they are willing to sacrifice for me.
So for that special someone, this is how I feel.
Love is appreciating the simple things that one does for the other, no matter how small and insignificant the action is.
Love is knowing how excruciating difficult it is to sacrifice something in particular, yet does so in the end because the smile of the other party is worth every pain.
Love is not taking advantage of the other's kindness and sacrifices, because one knows never to take love for granted.
Love is accepting the flaws and imperfections of both parties and there is a willingness to change for the better, knowing that the other will do the same.
Love is graciously forgiving the other even though he/she has wronged you so many times before, believing that he/she will change because he/she loves you too.
Love is forgoing all the fights and quarrels that had happened before, no matter how frequent it was; because there were times when one was happy beyond compare.
Love is about giving second, third, fourth ... chances to the other.
Love is knowing when and what to change for the other, because you know that changing makes you a better person not only for him/her but for others as well.
Love is beyond physical intimacy, it does not always have to resort to bodily contact, as it stems from deep within the heart and soul.
Love is sometimes about subconsciously thinking about the other and missing him/her.
Love is about taking the initiative to improve the relationship and not to tie the other down.
Love is sharing things or feelings to the other party, knowing that he/she will not judge you for it.
Yet, love is also knowing when to let go, because you want a better life for him/her.
Most of the time, I don't have the right words to describe my love for that special someone. & always I find love so confusing and misunderstanding. I love him with all my heart, but most of the time I feel that he doesn't feel the same way. Most of the time, I feel stuck in a rut, with my emotions all boiling over. But I know I can't always share those with him, because it will lead to a fight. Most of the time I just wish he would pay more attention to me, but I know he has other more important things on his mind. Most of the time, I wish he would love me more, but I know that I can't expect so much from him.
Most of the time, I wish we would share the same sentiments on what love is, but it is never like that. Yet I still love him; doesn't matter how different my love is, at least I know my love is sincere.
champouf posted Baking Mama! on Monday, July 29, 2013
It has been a while since I've last baked and due to my insane training schedules, I can't seem to find the time to do so. Thank goodness this week was my break week and trainings have ceased till next week! *Banzai * °˖✧◝(⁰ ▿ ⁰)◜✧˖° you can't imagine how free I feel right now! In addition, my mother is also somewhat free this week so we decided to bake brownies! (Actually I was the one who insisted on brownies ... Ahaha)
Anyways, this time we made two different batter, one purely and solely dosed in chocolate chips, while the other had hints of walnuts inside. It is pretty obvious which batch my family favored more.
01. Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder ; basically the dry ingredients.
Can you spot my chick bowl? Haha, so adorable (︶ω︶)
02. Spam it with chocolate chips!!!
03. Now mixing with the wet ingredients - butter, eggs etc
Brownies normally uses a lot of butter and eggs, but my mother and I will some times cut the portions by using ratio and improvise from there. Don't be afraid to try out new mixes! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫
04. Next we mix the flour batter into the butter mix slowly, spoon by spoon. This is to ensure the batter is thoroughly and evenly mixed!
My mother sometimes love using hand to mix the wet and dry batter together as she says that good techniques will definitely be better than using the machine. You can really taste the difference between those machine mixed and hand mixed ☆ミ(o*・ω・)ノ
If you want to add more chocolate chips, now is the time to spam more inside! Be sure to mix well!
05. Butter up the tray or add a waxing paper on the tray you want to bake with. This is to make sure the brownie doesn't stick to the tray! After pouring in the batter, even it out using a spatula or gently hitting the tray onto the table.
You can even pour the remaining batter into cupcakes holders! ♥~(‘▽^人)
Brownie cupcakes everybody! Bake the batter for at least 30 minutes at a temperate of 170degrees celcius.
You can mix up your brownies with something different - for me I love my brownies with a side of ice cream and M&Ms!
It was definitely a fruitful day since I don't have to constantly adhere to my crazy hectic schedule which consists of me rushing up and down from one side of Singapore to another!

#Throwback
I see myself being brought up in a more Westernised culture where my favourite dishes all revolve around Western food. However, I found out that recently I've been able to appreciate more Asian cuisines such as true Chinese delicacies and such. This post is about Thai food! I can say for sure that I have never ever tasted food before I met le bf, and he has such deep love for Thai food! So thanks to him, I opened myself up - to be more adventurous and try dishes I've never tasted before. Thanks to him, I too have developed a true liking for Thai food.
As such, throughout three years upon first meeting le bf, I've tried many Thai restaurants and even though some are pretty decent knock-offs, I find myself liking this particular restaurant the most - Bali Thai. Well the name doesn't seem that fancy, but I ensure you that this restaurant has some pretty amazing dishes worth every penny :) PS: all the dishes were chosen by le bf!
This reminded me of satay, but it tastes significantly better than satay! :)
This is seriously one of my most favourite Thai dish! - they wrapped the chicken meat inside pandan leaves and fried it like this, enriching the flavour ever so.
Another definite must try! :D I know many wouldn't dare to try curry that is green, but I assure you that you won't regret ordering this dish of awesome-ness (:
Pineapple fried rice! Who can not order this at a Thai restaurant?? I remembered when le bf and I went to Thailand, we kept eating their pineapple fried rice (:
Another reason why I felt this meal was thoroughly memorable was because my dearest cheer sister was there with us! It was the day before Cheer Nationals and I decided to invite her over for a stay-over where we could go and see the various cheer teams performances the next day. She had already returned to UK, and I miss her ;( but we still do keep in touch and I hope that one day we can cheer together again! :)

My mother bought tickets for the S.E.A aquarium quite a long time ago and somehow we never seem to be able to find time for it, until recently! Now with the haze and all lurking at every corner of Singapore, training was cancelled, thus I finally was able to accompany my mother out (: Since my mother had extra tickets, my younger brother and le bf tagged along too.
Be warned, this post contains a lot of fishy pictures :3
Here is my younger brother being his usual stupid-self - wearing the mask indoors
My mummy and I! (:
Can you spot one stingray burying itself in the sand?
The three of us together :) &I'm totally loving my deer hat I bought in Qingdao - ain't it adorable?♥
Le bf and I ♥ I finally managed to drag him into snapping one picture with me.
-Because when trouble hits, I only can dream of swimming away ...
They have super adorable dolphins - and they really swim super fast, it was quite tough for me to snap one decent picture of them.
KING CRAB!☼
There was a display of jellyfish in which the display kept changing colours, and the jellyfish reflect the colours off which makes it really pretty!
One of the most adorable pictures I took - this stingray looks like it is waving at me and saying hi!♥
Even my mother has to snatch the hat to wear it on herself! Haha :)
Le bf kept pestering me to do stunts so I just had to comply, haha and it was worth it!♫
Horny fish! :)
A lobster sitting on its bum, haha how can I not snap a picture of this?
Looks familiar? :3
Yet another cast from Finding Nemo! ^^
From her viewfinder -the world feels so small.
We were fooling around with one of the pirates hanging from the ceiling and tadah~ my brother's first cupie! Hahaha :P But I'm sure he will achieve this for real soon (:
Heehee~
"Oh man, coming to Singapore is such a mistake - the haze is killing me ... Better mask up rather than lose out."
After finishing touring the S.E.A aquarium, le bf brought us back to Vivo City where he recommended a German restaurant called Brotzeit. I know of this restaurant before but I've never really think twice about trying it out until now (:
Le bf has been quite into beer for quite some time now and this is no doubt one of the nicest beer I've ever tasted. Most of the beer will always leave a nasty taste in my mouth after a while and since then I've been quite aversive about drinking beer. This is one huge exception - it doesn't leave any bad taste and it tastes quite ... fresh! I fully recommend anyone who wants to try this out!
Our main dish(: The waiter who took our order told us that this portion may be too much for just the four of us, and I thought he was just joking because my younger brother and bf have appetites like kings! In the end, we couldn't finish and we had to dabao most of it home :P
A picture of my younger brother and I :) I've to admit that my younger brother has come a long way from being a small boy to a young man, and that is the same with cheerleading. He started out as someone who was weak-willed, and was bullied by many. However, le bf saw greatness in him and trained him from scratch. As of now, many people can see him improving in ways he has never fathom. &I'm proud to see him growing up so fast. Go, fight, win! ^^
That day was truly a great day for me! Not only did I get rest from trainings, I get to spend that day with my wonderful family :) Thank you mummy for giving me a superb day to enjoy♥
