champouf posted Ramblings. on Friday, June 24, 2011 " More than just love. " I have been doing Maths for about one week now, managed to finish covering/practicing all the tested chapters. It has truly been a mad rush. For two nights, I drank RedBull and was up till 3am+ doing Maths. There is a plus and minus side to it ....... The plus side is that I get to do more revision at one shot, and the next morning I will feel quite alright, no tardiness whatsoever. The minus side to it is that I get super HIGH in the wee hours of the morning while studying. Seriously. Baby has been accompanying me this entire week even through the late night studying, despite having work the next day. And he has seen me gone mad with RedBull. I just feel so quirky, like everything I see/hear is super funny! And I will keep laughing, and I will also disturb Baby every now and then. Hahahaha what a blast. I'm quite happy with my pace with Maths, and today is my last day finishing up everything for Maths before I revise the last chapter of Econs and do a bit of GP tomorrow and Sunday. Time seems to pass really fast ... and I hate it! I NEED MORE TIME! D: Late night studying again I suppose? :P Ohright, and guess what? I only had like 3 hours of sleep today and I still feel great. Slept around 7am in the morning because the Redbull was just too effective. Then woke up around 10am ... had a slow breakfast, enjoying my super delicious blueberry cheese tart my mother bought for me. Hohoho life is good. Then went onto Tumblr for a while .... reblog a few stuff here and there. I'm so happy that one of my most favourite posts of Sheldon has about 91 notes! So exciting! Heeheee. Anyways, besides that, I managed to write up two achievements for my T3A, now I've to wait for my teachers to approve them. BUT, I've no idea what to write for the third one D: I wrote about me being the Economics Representative for the first one, and the second one was the external Cheer coach thingy ... SO WHAT ABOUT THE THIRD?! Gosh, I wished I had gone to do some OCIP so that I can meekly include that in my T3A, but NO! I was too afraid of flying with my parents/Baby beside me. LOL. Stupid right? :P So I'm like trying to extract ideas from my friends to see how I can squeeze anything inside. HAHAHAHAHA. Ohyea, on a random side note, my elder brother found an iPhone 3GS while cabbing home from work one day and he kept it. He already has one iPhone 4G and one iPhone 3GS, now he has another. Like wth is he doing man?! :P Well, I'm heading back to study right now. But first I need to take an afternoon bath or else I will feel damn sleepy D: Hope I have the time to go running today because I've not been exercising the past few days and I managed to piss out like 1kg last night by drinking lots of water and visiting the loo like throughout the night. Someone save me. Hahaha, toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Baby. PS: To Baby, thank you so much for accompanying me throughout my endless studying nights. This is one of the biggest sacrifices ever, and I appreciate it a lot :) I love you so much darling and a huge thanks for everything you have done for me these past weeks. Muacks~♥ champouf posted Bleh. on Thursday, June 23, 2011 " This is me like 24/7. " Managed to cover as much topics I can for Maths, but I think my pace can be faster when I'm not watching Family Guy while studying :P LOL. Yesterday not only did I watched Family Guy, I also watched like Sucker Punch and No Strings Attached with my mother. Well since it was her day off, I guess she REALLY wanted to watch something. So I helped her find the website for online viewing. I watched Sucker Punch on the big screens, and it was very disappointing. Even though this is my second time watching it, I still don't get the plot. Like what?! I only understood the part about guardian angels etc, but the rest are just humba jumba to me. And I am probably never ever going to watch movies with sexual scenes with my mother again. At every sexual jokes or scene, she would be like squirming like a little girl. OMG. Can you believe it?! Hahaha It's not like she ahems* hahahahahahahahahahahaha wutttt. So anyways, I didn't study overnight last night because of some complications. Sadness, but it's alright now :) Oh yes and this post is about me complaining about some people at STOMP. Seriously. Some of them need a to give it a rest!!!!! I hate it whenever people upload couples on the MRT hugging or doing the 'octopus' (it's when you and your boyfriend are sitting next to each other and you put your legs on his) or even when a foreign Caucasian sits on her boyfriend lap. Seriously?! Must you upload such shit?! I mean come on! It's not like they are having sex or making out on the train!!!!!!!! Hugging is one of the most basic and innocent form of how people show that they love each other. And the 'octopus' issue, oh come on, it's not like they are obstructing anybody or disturbing anybody, why should they be posted up STOMP?! About the whole 'sitting-on-the-lap' thing, I also don't see what is the problem with it. Must Singaporeans be so itty bitty about every single thing they see?! What they are doing are so innocent that even a baby does it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF. Those who took pictures of couples making out sexily at some public place with people staring, then yes perhaps it is justifiable to put them up on STOMP - the wall of shame. But shouldn't you perhaps go up to them and tell them off about their actions in public instead of hiding at one corner with a camera on the ready? You are no better than a peeping tom. If you tried advising them to keep their actions on the down-low and yet they do not listen, then if you put their pictures up on STOMP, I find it perfectly understandable. Since they refused to stop, they should all the more be shamed. BUT!!! Taking pictures of couples hugging or kissing lightly in public places just goes to show how immature that STOMPER is. And yes, I will just deduce that that particular STOMPER is one forever-alone guy/girl who can't seem to keep their hormones in check and when they see a couple just hugging. It is a cry for attention to want to hit to big on STOMP, thus takes the innocent couple's picture and places it up on STOMP. Only to realize that he becomes infamous instead. Seriously, I dare you to go and search for one post about a couple hugging and you can see how many bad comments there are, majority of them directed to the person who posted it up. Such a pathetic person. I've always thought STOMP was a platform that Singaporeans are able to access to the different lifestyles sections. There are the Youth Section, the Teachers Section etc etc ... and the most famous Singapore Seen Section where people are allowed to voice their rage/view on a particular topic. However, I find that lately, Singaporeans make it more like their complaining section. Every minor incident they find, they MUST put it up on STOMP and make it look huge. One such example would be the Caucasian girl wearing a pair of really short shorts. DUDE WTF. First of all, I am able to recognize that she bought that pair from Topshop. But that is not the main point of course. The issue I'm driving at here is that she is really tall, comparing her height from people around her, and yes she has really long legs. So when she wears such shorts, it will definitely look super short on her since she is like TALL. If I were to wear it, I will make it look like a normal pair of shorts because I have short legs. SO WHY THE NEED TO FLAME HER ON STOMP! LIKE WTF MAN. It is not like she is exposing her bosoms or her butt! She is just showing off her really nice long and slender legs so what the hell is that STOMPER's problem?! Are you jealous that she has sexier legs than you?! Are you jealous that she can afford nice shorts and not you?! PLEASE STOP IT WITH YOUR WHIMPERING WHIMSICAL COMPLAINS. The reason why I go on STOMP is to read on more about the more important articles like finding of the body at Bedok Reservoir or to read on the unique/quirky/interesting articles. But somehow, STOMP is being flooded by online pussies who HAVE to complain about every single minor issues which they somehow accidentally threaded upon. I don't give a rat's ass if a couple were to hug on the MRT train. I don't give a hoot about girls wearing short shorts. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT IN THE WRONG. Why is it that we Singaporeans do not think twice before wanting to shame others on STOMP?! Do you think these people will feel happy to see that they are up on STOMP WHEN THEY DID NOTHING WRONG?! I swear some Singaporeans are just such pussies. GROW UP MAN. I guess some people are just meant to be petty asses. And if I see my blog post up on STOMP, it sure goes to say how petty some Singaporeans are. I'm not flaming anybody or STOMP, I am a BIG fan of STOMP and I go on to their website like every day if I managed to find the time. But, I'm just targeting this post to a group of people there who has to complain about every minor issues they stumble upon. Please grow up!!!!! So that's all I've for today. Got to go back to studying D: Hahahaha. Toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Baby. champouf posted Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Holidays are coming to an end, BOO WHORE. How I wish I could extend about another week or perhaps 2 weeks? And while I'm at it, I may as well just give myself another month of holiday! Hahahaha :P Wth. Ct2s are just next week and I'm already freaking out BAD. I somewhat finished econs, now I'm just rushing through maths. And don't get me started on literature when I have lost my book to study D: Fuck this shit lahs. Sianz. Physics ah, I think I give up on Physics le. Just die le. Gosh how I hate my life. Wtf. champouf posted Sunday+Monday. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 Celebrated Father's Day on Sunday with my family. Before that, I went to get my white Iphone 4 with Baby~! Heehee. Then after going to the Apple Store and getting my screen protector fixed, we quickly rushed back home just in time for the steamboat + bbq! Thank goodness all the 好料 are still there. Had smoked salmon, beef, thick juicy prawns and my favourite fishball! My dad also did something new and instead of putting the whole egg inside the soup to cook it, he cracked the shell open and just poured everything in it. The result of that was ... SUPERB! :D I skipped eating the liver because I don't eat anything like that .. it is just weird. But I can totally see Baby gorging it down .. hahaha silly boy! After steamboat + bbq, we had durians for dessert. WEIRD I KNOW! But awesome~ Daddy bought a few good ones and a few sour ones which was totally offsetting. But my mother loved the sour ones ....... sheeesh. Hahaha :P The photos are still in Baby's iphone, so I keep forgetting to upload them!!! Shall do it asap when he comes back home. I also watched the Green Lantern yesterday with Baby :) Was not as good as I expected it would be ... so to put it in simpler terms, it was somewhat quite disappointing. Maybe I say that because I'm basing this entire movie against X-Men First Class. Green Lantern has a good storyline, simple to understand, but I felt it hardly had any nice shocks to it like X-Men. X-Men may seem simple but there are quite a few twists to the plot like how Erik and Charles became such good friends yet they still ended up as enemies etc. Or how Charles helped Erik unlocked his fullest potential to only realize that he would use it against him one day. So all these tiny little details are what counts for a sturdy, complete, amazing storyline. Green Lantern somewhat misses these out. Like how Hal actually kept recalling how his dad died in the first part, but later on they just somewhat totally didn't mention about the dad anymore. Maybe it might not seem like a really important part, but they should just briefly mention how Hal perhaps stopped thinking of his father's death as a nightmare but more of a motivation etc? Based on action, drama and visual effects, GL sure has them. You can see how planet earth was almost completely destroyed by a huge massive 'storm-cloud-look-alike-thingy' who sucks people's life-force+fears. But the fight between Hal and this bad guy was a really short fight compared to X-Men with their final battle when they were in the cross-roads of the Allied vs Axis. That fight was quite long and every moment of it was just filled with such breath-taking effects that compels you to hang on to your seats tightly. Well, I shall not spoil anymore for those who haven't watched either movies. Despite me seeming so against GL, I still think it is a good show to catch, and you might want to stick around after the movie ... There is like an added segment to the entire movie. But for X-Men, it is a DEFINITELY A GOOD SHOW NOT TO MISS! So you better watch it! Hahaha. Now, Baby is bugging me as to why I didn't watch X-Men with him instead, and I feel so bad because he knows that it was just super mind-blowing. And that is all for my post today. Hahahaha. Toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Baby. champouf posted ShoppingSpree. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 " Don't just reach for the skies. " Had a super eventful shopping day today! :D Baby and I left house at around 2pm even though we planned to do so at 12noon. Hahahaha. First stop was at Plaza Singpura. On our way there, we saw Malcolm with a group of friends, so I ran up to him and tapped him on his shoulder. Then Kevin ran up to me and said hi too! Hahaha totally didn't see him at first. After exchanging friendly greetings, we were back on track. Our first few purchases was at a store called Toy Outpost and over there we bought stuff for our iphones :D Baby bought a yellow portable charger, while mine is pink! And I also bought a red color Cath Kidston iphone cover! :D Super chio. Later we just roamed about at Plaza Singapura and bought some necessities from Daiso too. Haha. We also ate our dinner there. I ate Chicken Katsu Japanese Curry, while Baby ate some wanton mee. The dumplings were nice but I preferred my curry~ Heehee. From then, we walked all the way to ION. That's right, we WALKED. It took us about 15minutes but it was FUN since Baby was entertaining me all the while. One of the most stupidest thing he did was he crushed up a receipt and was throwing it in the air and catching it with one hand, and while we were walking past to Istana, he accidentally dropped the ball of receipt and it rolled around this policeman standing on guard. And Baby actually went to chase it, and he was practically running around the policeman. HAHAHAHA :P The policeman looked at him suspiciously and I burst out laughing. The policeman let out a smile as well as Baby finally caught the rolling ball of paper. HAHAHAHA. What a scene!!! Thank goodness they didn't think he was some terrorist and start tackling him. So we arrived at ION (finally), and we went straight to FRED PERRY!!!! :D We browsed through their shoes and clothes and we were hell bent on getting the shoes. We tried out quite a few pairs and I was quite sad that the girls' selection had such few pairs compared to the guys who had like thrice the amount. But I saw one which I really LIKE and Baby agreed it was nice too, so I settled with it. Baby got a pair with the same color as me and we can totally wear matching shoes out! Hahaha so fun :D After Fred Perry, we dropped by at Topshop where I tried on a few pieces which I fell in love at first sight. Unfortunately, I've no idea why, I suddenly dropped one size and now I find US 6 too big for me. And US 2 fits me nicely. I'm really shocked, but super happy at the same time. Heehee. I guess all those work outs finally paid off even though there is no change on the weighing scale.... :P In the end, I bought one flowery high-waist skirt which was super chio. Heehee. Totally matched the belt Baby bought for me quite some time ago! Heehee. The other few items were bought by me quite a long time ago. TOPSHOP MADNESS~! Baby was feeling quite exhausted by then so we all headed home. Super happy with our shopping spree today~ Heehee it was definitely a happy happy day~ Even Baby was super pleased with our purchases. Heehee. Toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Baby. champouf posted Flawed. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 " I already know I'm imperfect, you didn't have to emphasize it. " I know I've many flaws which needs to be worked on. And I'm sorry if I haven't changed much since then. But I hope you will understand that sometimes, it takes more than courage to face your woes, it takes even more than that to change them. For me, a person with such low self-esteem, desperately needs encouragement time to time. Harshness will get us nowhere but perhaps lead us to more fighting and disputes. Sometimes all I wish for is someone who understands me ... I'm not asking for much. I want someone whom I can talk to, someone whom I can share my problems with, someone whom I can just ramble on and on without fear of being too chatty. Is that too much to ask for? When I say 'talk', I hope it can be something like face-to-face, where I can see your expressions the best, where you can see mine as well. Instead of us doing our individual chores, talking to empty screens and not sharing meaningful conversations. I wish for someone who hears and listens to me, talks and speaks to me, shares and opens himself up to me. Is that too much to wish for? champouf posted X-Men. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 " When the color fades. " Watched XMEN-FIRST CLASS today! Freaking awesome! Heehee. Was supposed to go down to the movies to watch it with Baby yesterday but we have to 省钱, so we ended up slacking at home playing SB LOL. But anyways, this morning I woke up super early to have breakfast with Baby. Apparently, somebody slept at 4am in the morning and he seemed like a half-assed zombie today. Hahaha so adorable :P After breakfast, my mother asked me whether I wanted to watch the movie with her since my dad was not free. At first, I didn't want to since I've got to stay at home and study, then I thought about it for a while and guess WHY NOT?! Besides, it has been a while since I last went out with my mother. But my mother was so kiasu! She wanted to watch the earliest movie slot and we rushed there at around 10am+. LIKE WHO IN THE WORLD WATCHES A MOVIE SO EARLY?! We did get the first slot at GV and she was so excited. Omgawd, sometimes my mother can be so childishly cute. She bought the nachos set and we were munching all the way in the cinema. When the movie started, 3/4 of our nachos were already gone. Can you believe it?! And when it finished, she gave me the remaining box to lick up the nacho cheese. FATTENING, but so delicious! Hahahaha I'm so fat D: The movie was damn kick-ass. You thought that the 3rd movie was good, you have got to catch this one. It might be full of angst at first, but it really developed out really nicely and I was just amazed and awed throughout. And Professor X was such a 'playboy' when he was young! I totally could not believe it, but it was really funny. And Magneto was the character who contributed the most angst. Like seriously. Overall, I LOVED THE MOVIE TO BITS. They explored a lot of little details as to how the Cerebro came about and how Charles started using it to find mutants, how Erik got that funny looking helmet which he wears it all the time with his Magneto costume, they also explored Raven's background (Mystique). I guess the best part was all the mutants using their powers and of course how Erik became damn powerful! The graphics were AMAZING, and the storyline has no loopholes whatsoever. SO IT IS A DEFINITE MUST WATCH! :D Heehee. After the movie, I wanted to print out some pictures for Baby and I, unfortunately, I did not manage to do so due to some technical difficulties ... So :( My mother also bought the ingredients for her tiramisu! But she ain't baking it today as she says she needs her afternoon nap. LOL. We walked around for a while, looking at Topshop etc, but didn't buy anything. Hahaha, I'm not in the mood for much shopping today :P And here I am back at home. Supposed to start studying any time soon! Hahaha :P Oohh and my mother made me coffee - Starbucks style! It's nice :D Has a homely taste to it. Heehee. Oh right, and I'm really taking a shine to my newest hairstyle. Got it done last week and I'm totally loving it right now. For those who didn't know, I rebonded + curled my hair and it costs me like $180+ but the quality is damn good. Hahaha :P Guess how long it took to do up my hair? 6 freaking hours! I sat in the chair from 12noon all the way till 6plus. Almost died of hunger and exhaustion though .. lol. At first I felt like I looked like some aunty with permed hair, but slowly the curls spread out nicely and now I LOVE IT TTM :D Even Baby likes it! Heehee. But the difficult thing is to maintain it. Omg. I had to buy some curl enhancer for $30+ and it is recommended to apply it every day. But yea, I have not been doing so, only when I'm going out, will I then use it. But it is still nice and curly. Heehee. Well, that's all for today~ Going running with Baby later at night, hope he doesn't die by the sidewalk :S Hahaha silly boy. ♥♥♥♥Meow~ champouf posted Sundays. on Monday, June 13, 2011 " Keep calm and continue cheering. " Went to Sentosa with Baby yesterday. It was quite fail actually. We had no plans of going Sentosa yesterday since we had training in the afternoon. But Baby woke up super early and when he saw that it was finally not raining, he woke me up too and said "Let's go to SENTOSA!" (of course he said it in Chinese) I was still too tired as I slept at 2am+ the previous night and I was practically in the wake-me-up-and-I'll-PMS-in-your-face mode. But Baby still woke me up and I was like PMS-ing even when I was bathing. Baby was like rushing with the packing of extra clothing, mats, sunblock etc .. and I was simply amazed at how productive he can be when he wants to. HAHA :P So we set off at around 10am+ and reached Vivo at around 11.30am. I was like PISSED-OFF-HUNGRY as we didn't eat breakfast. Thus, we went to buy food, lots of food and dapao to Sentosa to eat. Silly Baby kept pestering me to wear a set of bikini to Sentosa but I refuse! Because I'm not too confident of my body with curves all in the wrong areas, but I'm too shy of my thick thighs too! HAHAHA :P WTH RIGHT! Anyways, we found a nice spot under a shade and we set our things up there. We had our wonderful lunch before Baby went off to suntan, while I sat under the shade and read my notes, at the same time, ogle at some hot hunky Caucasians. Haha I'm such a perv. We left that place around 2.30pm and made our way to SP. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures before Baby went into the water, and he didn't want to take especially when his hair was all wet ... So, I had to force him to take a few with me under the conditions that I won't tag him on facebook. LOL, so petty! Training that day was alright :) Jesse came down so we didn't do any pt, instead we just showed her some of the stunts we have been trying out for quite some time. After Jesse left, we did our usual training. First stunt was the 360degrees elevator. It was quite a tough nut to crack, but I managed to do so :D And then came B-toss! OMG :D Did a few basket tosses and it was awesome! I think I'm getting the hang of flying high in the air, which is a totally different feeling from Pop. But I hope I can try out pop twist some time soon! So that I can try that out for B-toss :D Heehee. Jiayous! Well, I had a lot to think last night, and I realized that I have a habit of always undermining my own abilities or having no faith in myself. I guess it is true when they say that the toughest opponent you face is yourself, especially when you are so down in the dumps. I did a lot of thinking and I am really going to make a difference in my life. I don't want to be stuck with the same old me every year, I've to make some good changes in my personalities, my mindset etc. I've to put my very best in whatever I do, be it studies, love, or cheerleading. I've to really give it my all. And I want to thank my Baby for always standing by my side, helping me with the decisions I make, or just lending a listening ear to me whenever I am on my ranting spree. Thanks dear, I appreciate your kindness and I will definitely head your advices. ♥♥♥♥&the battle has just begun. champouf posted CHEER! on Saturday, June 11, 2011 " A goal which I'm aiming for. Our sunblock, tanning lotion, beach wear etc .... WTH. But ... that's not the main point here ... Cheer RAWR! Headed down to SP yesterday with a few others of my besties to have just some random cheer stunting. Before Baby arrived after his work, we did warm-up, pt and stretching. I swear, Kat and Lihui are like DAMN flexible even though it was their first time doing the intense stretching. I know Kat is damn flexible because she used to be in ballet, and she could even do a somewhat nice looking scorpion. Hahaha just need to practice more on balancing :P Anyways, when Baby finally came, we got down to real business. It was B-toss baby! :D I finally did my first successful B-toss with power height thanks to Bob and Baby! :) I'm so happy Baby said my B-toss looks nice, even though I felt I didn't reach up for the highest point, I still felt it was super high :D Heehee. Next is to master Basket Toss before I can try anything else up in the air! Omgggg so fun! :D Of course I still want to master how to do a Pop-Twist, because that will help me with the popping down from partner stunts. Argh, so many things to learn, so little time! D: After cheer, we all headed down to have dinner at Clementi except for Bob who went home to mug. Crazy fellow. Hahahaha :P Jerry, Malcolm, Kat, Lihui, Baby and I went to the usual spot to eat. Kat bought this super horrible laksa which tasted like satay sauce .. it was seriously damn horrible! D: Thank goodness Baby and I shared a plate of BBQ Chicken Rice which was superb! :D And then we all headed home. It was a super eventful practice! I felt like I did a lot of things like doing a nice B-toss, stretching to my limit and PT-ing! :D My muscles are aching today which is a good sign that I have fully maximized myself yesterday! CHEERIOS~! Anyways, that's all I've for today. Toodles~! ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer&Baby.
