champouf posted Weekends. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 " I want to be a retarded dancer (metaphorically speaking). " For the past few days, I've found myself enjoying eating a lot! Of course I did not overeat ... Haha no one likes to see their weighing scale increasing. So anyways, I have a few places to talk about! First stop was this super awesome Thai food we tried at this small shop at Sunshine Plaza Bugis. Naturally, I went around window-shopping first before we made our way there as Baby wanted to compare the prices of his Gundam figurines. After looking at them thoroughly, Baby brought me to the Thai place which Yuzi had recommended to him quite some time ago. Well, even though it was an open-air shop, it was still cooling :) Baby ordered DAMN a lot of food and I ordered omelet since I love EGGS! Haha. The drinks came first and Baby ordered coconut juice and we were literally drinking from the coconut shell itself! :D Can see the coconut shell?? :D Haha super duper awesome! And it's naturally sweet and mouth-watering refreshing! The best part is that the flesh against the coconut can be eaten and this just heightens the very pleasure of partaking such a simple yet delightful drink. Baby ordered that plate of "Lala" as can be seen at the outer most left of the picture. The flesh is really really smooth and soft and even though the way of cooking it is most unorthodox, it still proves to be a tantalizing dish when you dip it into the hot sauce that just elevates the very taste of it. Of course for people like me who can't really stand chili, always make sure to have a cooling drink near you because just one small dip of that hot sauce and your tongue will be on fire. Baby ordered an extra cup of coke because he finished his coconut and he was simply perspiring from the heat + hot sauce. Hahaha silly him :P Here is the picture of my delicious omelet fried with beans, corn and little pieces of meat inside. Well, the egg tastes quite simple, but the delicious goodness inside is the one that makes everything more unique! :D Just mmmm goodness! Haha. And at the bottom is the fried squid which Baby ordered too. Well, I don't really like squid, but this one was different! I can't say much about it because I will mostly be biased against it, but it was still a good run for one's money :) And knowing me, I'm one who doesn't like to go off without cam-whoring a bit!!! :D Heehee. So right, after dinner, we went to Bugis Junction for another round of shopping and this time I bought something! Not something big/expensive .. just a top to match one of my shorts which I per-ordered from Taiwan .. :) And I'm super happy that my Baby has a rather good sense in female fashion as he was the one who assured me that it was a definite match :) After shopping, we went home and yes our day ended on a simple note. Another happy day was the day which my Baby and I went to IKEA for dinner! It was on a Sunday and I just finished tuition ... super exhausting and I felt like dying ... we were supposed to leave for IKEA around 2pm, but we dragged and dragged because I was just too exhausted. So I rested for a while and then we started to get ready and by the time we left the house, it was around 5pm. It was quite surprising that IKEA was not as crowded as I thought it would be on a Sunday ... we managed to find a seat straight after we paid for our food. Awesome :) Once again, we bought a feast! Hahaha :) Well the next few pictures will be CAM-WHORING AGAIN!! Wahahahaha :D Get ready for super unglam shots of moi... :P After indulging ourselves in such a HUGE feast, we went off walking around the showcases, looking at designs on how to improve our room! :D And yes, we were also searching for a shoe-shelf to arrange our shoes nicely instead of just dumping them back into their shoe boxes and stacking them up in one corner. Gosh, so unsightly! D: Hahaha :P We walked around for quite a bit and we saw a few things we might want to get, but Baby has this shopping theory. He says whenever you feel the urge to buy something, stop and think for a while .. if within one month, you visualize yourself using it less than 3-5 times, don't buy it unless you have the extra cash for it. Hahaha silly boy. Later on, we went back to Tampines since we had a lot of time left on our hands and continued walking about the 3 shopping malls. Once we got super exhausted, we decided to head back home :D That concludes my super long weekend! :) Well, I'm glad that I managed to spend some quality alone time with my darling, catch up with lots of rest and my studies as well! Since I had like 3 consecutive tuitions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and yes on the coming Monday, I had another tuition .. Hahaha. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable :D Love it ttm. Thank you Baby for such a memorable weekend :) 爱爱你 Muacks* Toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby. champouf posted Candies. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 " Beauty. " Just came back from school and the moment I stepped onto the weighing machine, I was so happy :) Heehee. Lost another kg! But anyways, that is not the point :P I'm going to post about the random itty bitty things that happened over the course of these few days. First stop, what my Baby said a few days ago really got me thinking. On our way home together, Baby mentioned something about feeling as if the both of us are a newly-wed couple - a couple who starts off with nothing in their lives except for each other, a couple whom both are working hard for the happiness of both parties etc. Now that I think of it, it really does seem true, I mean granted that I am still a student, I know of couples who got married when one of them is still schooling in Uni. And yes, they had nothing to start off with as well. The idea seems quite scary actually, that is why I told Baby so many times that I rather graduate and get a good, well-paid, stable job and probably after earning a proper income for about 3 years will I then feel more secured to finally get married, unless of course if my fiancee is already a millionaire by then, I would not have to worry about buying a new house etc. Still on the topic of newly-weds, I probably want a simple wedding, one that is not too complicated with the programs, details etc. Just have a beautiful hotel, a formal dinner, and yes partying after dinner - these all work well for me. But of course, I am not thinking of marriage right now, considering how hard I've to work to get into a good university. So yes, I'm studying hard not only for myself, but for my family and my Baby :) This second issue is something really really funny. Ever since Baby started living with me, I've noticed how drastic my room had changed to accommodate him. First of all was my wardrobe - I had to clear out half of my clothes (throw them away/give to salvation army) so that he has enough space for his clothes. Next would be the space for his miscellaneous items, such as his bags, his shoes, his stationaries etc. He has this HUGE luggage which he uses to shift from his friend's house to mine, and seriously, it is HUGE. The moment you step into my room, you will definitely see it smack right there! And he has this another huge long rectangular box under my table which is like SUPER HEAVY. He practically stuffs all his not-frequently-used items there, and who can forget his CHEER bag. Hahaha inside this particular bag contains all his past Cheerleading uniforms when he was in Gusto. He really does treasure his times in Gusto :) So well, I guess I can give way to that. Haha :P Continuing my topic, my table last time was only big enough to accommodate my stuff, and I have a lot of stuff, but two people cannot squeeze into using my table, so we had to buy another table. Baby loves those low tables where you have to sit on the floor to use the table, something like a Japanese tatami, of course there is no heater under the table for mine, but yea you get the point. So we went to IKEA to search for it and found it. It so happens that I'm too short to use the table, so we bought lots and lots of pillows to cushion my bottom and give me a boost. Which brings me to my point where Baby also bought a carpet where he sleeps on it every night. Slowly, I found myself sleeping on the carpet with him too because it was SUPER comfortable ... even though my dad bought a new bed for me and my maid :P Baby also thought that having a white board was super awesome, so we got one and pasted on the wall where we put up some of the important notices etc. And he also conquered the top shelf of my book-shelves so that he can put his Gundam figurines there .. and yes my stuff ended up on the floor next to the boxes of shoes ..... D: Gosh. On the other hand, you know what? I kind of enjoy all of these changes happening in my life! I mean now my room looks so much cooler than last time, and it seems more homely for all that matters :D So thank you Baby for the wonderful changes you have made in my life, both physically and emotionally. Well, another issue I would to share is that I am utterly amazed at how much I can actually save ... If you know me well, you should know how much a shopaholic I am. I can shop every single day be it for clothes, stationaries, books, accessories etc. I LOVE RETAIL THERAPY. Then I have no idea what happened, I was suddenly compelled to save money, and I am happy to say that it has been about 3 weeks since I've stopped shopping entirely. It is quite stressful at first like a smoker trying to quit smoking, but slowly, I realised that it was quite easy to calm your urges down .. There is something which I really really want, but then I will tell myself that I don't need it in the near future, so there is no need in buying it. So in the end I won't buy it! In one week, I can save about $80 since I don't really spend on food, only on traveling fares and notes ... and in one month, I can save about $320! Which is quite a lot :) And I think at the end of this year, if I can continue saving at least this much, I can definitely sponsor myself to go overseas for a holiday, without the need of my parents forking any money in. Ain't that awesome?! Hahaha, but of course going for a few months without shopping will definitely kill me, so perhaps I will just shop a bit once in a while? Just treat myself to a little retail therapy after studying like crap ... :P Well so anyways, that's all I have for today :P Heehee. Toodles~! ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby. champouf posted Home. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 " I'm getting it all out today. " Staying home today because I just had diarrhea in the morning. Haha :P Omg. So freaking embarrassing ... So anyways, I'm thinking of doing more Economics today, because my class is having some crap up Econs progress test next week. I hope I am able to finish reading the covered topics while making sure that I do not fall behind in the other subjects. Aye, so stressed. So right, I'm here to update on what happened yesterday. I went over to Bugis to meet up with Baby and Yuzi. We had PastaMania and I ate carbonara while Baby ate some burger. Naturally I couldn't finish my food and so I passed the rest to Baby. We continued talking about stuff and then we went upstairs to shop :) Well I didn't buy much stuff, just a packet of bobby pins for my thick fluffy hair. Hahaha. Then Baby and I saw this really comfortable stool with a back rest!! But it was quite expensive, and it so happened that Yuzi bought one somewhat some time ago, and she didn't need it so she wanted to give it to us. So in the end, we took a taxi to her house and Baby carried it downstairs and took another cab back to Tampines. The chair was like SUPER comfortable and I'm like sooo in love with it. Hahaha thank you Yuzi for the chair :D Heehee. Well anyways, back at home, I'm was super tired and I literally just fell over ... But then I was supposed to finish using the iPhone batt, because I was afraid that if I were to charge it when it hasn't been used finished, the battery will spoil or something, so I just continued using it until I was totally knocked out. Then when I woke up the next morning, around 5am, the screen was still on because Baby had this habit of meddling with the settings to make sure that the screen doesn't go into lock mode. So yea, the screen was on the whole freaking night and it had about 6% batt left, so I went to charge it and went back to sleep. Well yea, that was around the time my stomach ached and so in the end I didn't go to school. Bummer. So here I am at home for the entire afternoon, well I guess after lunch I will just do some Econs before heading off to teach Jingjing English. Not sure about my plans in the evening though .. I guess I will see how things go first. Toodles~ ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby. champouf posted PhoneMadness on Monday, April 18, 2011 Hello!! I'm just testing out this blog application on the iPhone!!! ;) heehee now I can blog as I go! :D Cheerios Baby! champouf posted It's Weekends Baby. on " Keep my tracks. " Here is an update of my beautiful, wonderful weekends with my Baby :) Well I did mentioned what I was going to do in the previous post, but of course complications are always prevalent no matter where you go ... So right, on Saturday, my tuition ended right on the dot 11am, and I continued doing my work till Baby came home around 12noon. We just hung around in the house till the clock struck 2pm, which I was supposed to go and bathe, but yea, I was so engrossed with the iPhone that I totally forgot about it, so in the end by the time I finished bathing, choosing what to wear, changing etc ... it was already 3pm! And that was the time we were supposed to meet at Bugis. LOL. We reached Bugis around 3.45pm and met up with Baby's students. They all were super young yet they all wanted to watch Scream 4. Are you kidding me?! I am absolutely against watching scary movies, but I did not want to embarrass myself since I'm like a 19 year old teenager .. and still scared of such movies?! Ohgosh. So yea I went with it ... but I had no idea what happened in the end and we found ourselves at Iluma, buying tickets to watch Rio. I totally don't mind Rio, since the ratings were superb! :) We bought the 5.30pm tickets and we had about one hour to spare and guess what?! Baby and I rushed to the arcade there and we went straight to the sweets slotting machine. We saw that one of the girls had given up halfway through the top, and we took her place! Normally, we would spend about $50 on such machines, but this time we only spent about $10!!! Haha thanks a lot! Of course we got the Jackpot price too - a Vocaloid Plushie! We actually won the Rin one, but Baby changed it for another one because he didn't exactly like her. Hahaha. I wanted the Len one, but oh wells, the one Baby got was good too :D Baby also sponsored his students some money to play games in the arcade, but they all seemed so shy and didn't want to play any of the games there :( But with much persuasion, some of them got to play! :) Heehee. Well, we hung around there for half an hour before they started to get hungry, so we head back to the cinema where they bought snacks to fill their hunger. Baby kept pleading to get the Large Popcorn Combo and yes in the end we got it. LOL. But it was DAMN HUGE CAN! Baby joked that after I eat about 1/4 of it, I will probably push the rest to him, and that was exactly what happened! :P Baby look super retarded in this one .. haha I think it is on purpose! :P Yay, a nicer look for him :) And here is the plushie we won! :) I tell you, my Boyfriend is super childish when it comes to such things. This plushie is obviously wearing a skirt right, and of course it can be lifted up and down etc, because of that, the designers definitely put in an extra undergarment underneath the skirt am I right? My Boyfriend was SO CHILDISH, he kept lifting the plushie's skirt up and showing off to his male students that the plushie was wearing undergarments! I was like OMG, Baby you really make me want to punch you in the face and kick you in the crotch. Hahaha :P Guys. What can I say? Even though their numerical age keeps increasing every year, their mentality will always stay a young childish boy who just found out about puberty. But, yea ... I thought it was quite cute :) ANYWAYS, after the movie, the students had to go back to their hostel as they had a curfew, so Baby and I could complete our own plans :) But sadly, Sunshine Plaza closes at 7pm sharp, so in the end we could not go there to see his gundams as the movie ended around 7.30pm. As a result of that, we headed straight to Plaza Singapura .. ON FOOT. Yes ON FOOT! Well, it was not such a long journey as I was getting used to it and I had Baby to accompany me throughout the whole journey. We quickly went to Daiso to get my cheap cheap notebooks for assessments and practises, BUT the queue was so damn long. It practically went on forever and ever ... Surprisingly the people at the counter were like SUPER efficient .. we only waited for about 5minutes and it was our turn :) Since we had time, Baby wanted to quickly head back to Tampines as he wanted to get his USB drive for his SIM card again, because he gave the one he had to one of his students who had problems with her SIM card. At the Paya Lebar interchange, we saw Zongda with his group of Interact friends, so we went to say a HUGE hi to him and chatted for a while before heading off. Before heading home, Baby also bought salmon + rice for our supper, as we did not eat anything for dinner but popcorn! Hahaha :P The salmon was SUPER DELICIOUS. It is like OMG SO GOOD. I ate all the salmon and didn't leave any for Baby, but he didn't mind :P Sorry Baby!!! D: Heehee. And well, that concludes my Saturday. For Sunday, nothing much happened actually, just had the usual Cheerleading practice and my darling 女儿came back to training after 2 weeks of resting her ankle :) Yayness. So I've come to the end of my post :) Got to get ready for Maths Tuition later on ... wooooooooos. Toodles~! ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby. champouf posted Diary. on Friday, April 15, 2011 " Chocolate babies. " Being dismissed at 12.55pm is like damn 爽!!! Haha :D Went to the bus stop to wait for my bus and then I met Melissa, Chengling, Michelle, Sharon.L, Aidil and Darryl. Well the girls were heading off to tuition while Aidil was going to the mosque and Darryl was just heading home just like me. The rest got onto the earliest bus they needed to head to their tuition teacher's house, while Darryl waited for BUS 31 with me :) So sweet! Hahaha. We talked a lot of random stuff in the bus and he dropped off at Tanah Merah station while I continued on till Tampines :) I quickly head home and had my usual dosage of CEREAL! My dad bought that super special dark chocolate cereal again! My ultimate favourite! So anyways, had a bit too much to eat today so I was feeling rather guilty, nevertheless, I went to bathe around 3pm, and headed off to Jingjing's house at around 3.45pm. Jingjing is the girl whom I'm teaching English to. You might wonder, but I assure you that she is a Primary One kid, and I'm sure that I'm definitely capable enough to teach her simple basic English :D Cheerios. The tuition lasted for about an hour+ before I head back to Tampines and walked home. Here, I'm like waiting for Baby to come home, so that we can go train together :D Heehee, so excited, yet worried that I might just die ... :P Another thing is that I want to introduce a super nice game for all iPhones, iPads, iTouch etc etc.. It is called ZOMBIE CAFE! :D Well Van.Lim introduced it to me on her iTouch and I downloaded it on the iPhone. It is something like Restaurant City, but it is even better! Instead of normal waiters, you have zombies working for you. Besides that, you can actually use your Zombie workers to go and invade all your rivals' cafe in the area! Hahaha! And after your zombies raid their place, killing their workers, their reputation will naturally drop and their customers will naturally become yours! Not only that, you get to steal their food and serve it in your cafe. Haha ain't that great?! :D I'm totally hooked onto that game and so is my darling Baby. Haha you can see how serious he is in the game. He even discussed with me on how to properly place the restaurant tables such that the zombie waiters have it easier to serve the customers, and at the same time, maximize the space available in the restaurant! Hahaha he is so adorable :P Well he declared himself the manager, while I'm the owner of the restaurant. Goodness gracious, I think we have all gone mad. I'm going to have Econs tuition again tomorrow and I actually am quite excited for it. It is like I am never so ecstatic when it comes to school/tuition, but I guess for once I can make a special exception, especially when the teacher is so nice and friendly :) Not to forget, she is a damn good teacher! It is like I'm beginning to kind of like Economics in a good way! :S Then Baby made plans for tomorrow after my tuition. When I'm having tuition at home, he is going to Tampines Station to meet one of his business partners to talk about a business they are thinking of setting up in Singapore. I hope everything goes well because I know my Baby has been working really hard for such a good opportunity! 亲爱的宝贝 要好好加油 我会支持你的!! ♥ Knowing my Baby's personality, I'm sure everything will turn out well! :D After he finish discussing, I should be quite done with my tuition and I will go and meet him at Tampines. Then we will head off to Bugis to check out his stuff which he will need for his business. After that, he was thinking of WALKING to Sunshine Plaza to see his darling Gundams. Haha :P He wants to counter-check the prices there in Bugis and here in Tampines. When we are done at Sunshine Plaza, we will then head over to Plaza Singapura where I want to check out some Hellokitty items at the same time, go to Daiso and buy notebooks! I saw this super awesome notebook which is super handy-dandy! So I'm thinking of getting more for my other subjects, since it is good AND CHEAP! WAHAHAHA. $2 NYAAAHHHH!!! $.$ After all that hustle, we shall head back to Bugis to meet our young friends to catch a movie! Well, we are still deciding what movie to watch at Iluma ... Either Rio or Hop ... both are equally good, since both were rated a mind-blowing 4 stars! Well anyways, I'm still waiting for Baby LOL. And I sinfully ate a chocolate muffin despite still being on my diet regime. Darn it. Hahaha :P Ohwells, going to burn it off later anyways ... Toodles~! ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby. champouf posted Just ranting. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 " And it's a feast. " UPDATES :) Yesterday after school, I headed back home before going to Pasir Ris to teach my dearest student JingJing English. Well I was pretty late as I left home quite late and by the time I reach there, it was like around 5pm, when I was supposed to be there at 4pm. Owells, since I dismissed from school rather late, I guess it was alright :P The tuition process was rather smooth and I was done by 6.15pm and I had to quickly rush to Cityhall to meet up with Baby and Yuzi for dinner! We were supposed to meet up at 7pm but yea, you should have guessed that my bus came pretty late and by the time I reached Paris Ris Mrt, it was close to 6.30pm. I was SUPER late, and Baby told me that Yuzi was already at Cityhall. Baby did the most stupid thing ever and he took the train in the wrong direction! He was supposed to be ahead of me by two stops, but in the end, he got himself in the same train as me. HAHA so EPIC FAIL!!! :D We reached Cityhall about 7pm and met Yuzi there. We started walking through Citylink and we were deciding what to eat for dinner since it was Baby's treat. And Baby suggested XinWang Cafe, and we all agreed! I was so excited because I wanted to eat their Japanese Curry Chicken Chop! It was superb the last time I went there to eat ;) Heehee, sadly when we got there, the shop was closed down to set up a Sushi restaurant :( Even though I like sushi, I still felt somewhat disappointed! Sighs* But it was alright, we went for The Asian Kitchen which was beside it. And the food was there was surprisingly nice! I've always thought that it might be a little too Chinese for my taste, but it was alright! :D We took a super long time deciding what to eat because we had so much catching up to do, and I think the waiter was quite ticked off by us because when we called him, we were still deciding what to order LOL. So right, he took down our orders and the waiting time was not that long :) It was quite alright, and the service was average. Now to rate the food, what I ordered was the Chicken Chop La Mian. Baby bought a set of rice with a plate of steamed fish. Then Yuzi bought the Beef Fried Rice. Here is my 拉面 + the chicken chop on another dish :) Looks super tempting right? And yes the noodles were just superb! First of all, its so soft and tangible then when you bite it you can totally taste the noodles being somewhat springy! And with the whole serving submerged in the warm soup, everything was just perfect! The soup was average, but at least it did not spoil the taste of the noodles, and despite it soaking in the soup for quite some time, the noodles were not soggy at all which is a good thing too!! :D The chicken chop was super crispy and it taste fresh! The skin was crunchy and it was not too hard with the really soft tender meat under the skin. Overall, it was just wonderful. Here is Baby's white rice with his steamed white fish nearby. I can't say anything about the white rice because it tastes like any other ordinary white rice ... so yea. The steamed fish has really subtle flesh and the taste just somehow melts into your mouth. The sauce managed to compliment the fish and it was a rather good combination. Well, the presentation of this dish is nice and all, but I think I've tasted better fish in other areas in Singapore. But, it was still worth eating! :) Here we have Yuzi Beef Fried Rice and I loved the overall taste in it. The beef was not too hard, not too soft, but just right. The fried rice was also cooked to perfection, making sure that the taste of the beef did not crash with its originality. The presentation was not all that fancy, but the overall taste of this dish was good enough to offset it :) Overall, it was just superb! And here we have our side dishes! 小笼包 + fried dumplings. I've to say that the 小笼包 here was quite disappointing as the 'juice' inside was not as strong as the ones I ate in China. It was so strong that it left a lingering taste in my mouth which made me crave for more. But the ones here in Singapore are not that good. It was nice, but I would recommend going to China to try those out. The steamed dumplings was just so-so :) The ones I had in China were better too, especially the ones I ate near Baby's house. Ohboy, those were just SUPERB. Anyways, the ones here in Singapore are alright. It is worth trying, but if you want the real deal, China is the place to head to :D There was still one more dish for desert which I forgot to take picture of, it was some red bean paste wrapped in those dumpling skins. It was really unique! It reminded me of those tau sah pao, but this one had a more classic taste. The combination of dumplings + 豆沙 was awesome! An awesome idea really, and I walked away from that restaurant craving for more. Hahaha :P During dinner, we also discussed a lot of vacation plans which we want to do after our exams! For example, during June after Yuzi's exam papers, we were thinking of going to Genting to try out their theme park there! Even though I already went there once, I still think that going there another time is not a bad idea! :D We also wanted to try out going to Hong Kong Disney Land after my Alevels around December! Omgosh, I've always wanted to go there! Well, Baby and I had also made plans of returning to China to visit his family members once more and maybe spend Christmas there since it was going to snow and all! But I'm still deciding on that one, because it would be my first time spending Christmas without my family :( Baby also planned to stay there till Chinese New Year since he gets the kicks from receiving red packets from his relatives, since he is the only cousin left that has not gotten married yet! HAHA :P Silly Baby. After all the talking and stuff, Yuzi wanted to bring us to see a few really AWESOME/CUTE/ADORABLE iPhone 4 cases! And I so wanted to see, so we started to head out. I had no idea we were going to walk all the way to Plaza Singapura! Hahaha. Omgosh. I was totally unprepared for it, but we made it! Hahaha :) The first shop she wanted to bring me to already closed for the day, but at least the second shop was still open! YES and the HelloKitty cases there were just toooooo ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to buy but Baby did not allow me :( And the plushies there were like OMG so fluffy and cute. I almost died in the shop. Hahaha :P Afterwards we still had time, so we went to Daiso to get a few stuff for ourselves. I got myself a notebook so that I can compile my Maths stuff all into one book instead of single sheets of paper ... D: And Yuzi got a few stuff for herself as well! :) Once that was done, we all head to the MRT and headed home :) And boy, yesterday was really tiring, Baby and I slept around 3am because we were up all night watching youtube videos on our iPhone. First we watched some Cheerleading videos and I watched last year's Gusto performance with my darling Baby in it! :) Heehee, omgosh his body is just too dreamy :O Then we also watched Niga Higa videos! Hahaha I forgot which one we watched, but then afterwards we watched Russell Peters! He is one of the best and most loved comedians in my list! Gosh, the way he is able to entertain the crowd and draw their attention to him was just legendary. Not to forget that he is able to plan his every movement and actions to emphasize the hilarity of his entire performance. That is just one true comedian :D Then we finally went to get some sleep at 3am+, and when I woke up at 6am in the morning, my head was in a whirl of throbbing pain and my body was still asleep pretty bad T.T I slept throughout my whole trip to school and my first two period of breaks, I wasted them all on sleeping. LOL. Anyways, I shall spare the details of my day in school because it is just plain mundane and horrible D: But something funny happened today after school! Chengling, Teri and I were all heading towards the busstop, then when we reached the side gate, it was drizzling .. so we thought since it was drizzling, we could just run to the busstop. AND WE DID! BUT GUESS WHAT?! Halfway through our journey, it started pissing like mad! And since we were already halfway there, we thought running back to school was just a waste of time. So we just 冲 all the way to the busstop! Hahaha :P We were soaking wet when we got there and I was super cold! I already had flu before that plus the cold seeping into my skin, I just felt terrible, but it was alright since I was already heading home. Ohgosh. And the day went on just like that .. just now, I went out with Joshua and my mother to take care of some handphone issues. For Joshua, he was getting his new iPhone 4, while I had to change my SIM card to the smaller SIM card specially for iPhones. My mother had to come along because the both of us needed her NIRC as our handphone contracts are all signed under her name. Hahaha ;P So we got there and the queue at Singtel was pretty long because there was this Uncle in front who took like forever during his turn. Joshua said that the uncle was super kiasu and kept asking retarded questions, which made the line hellish long. Thank goodness there was another counter and the people were quite fast and efficient there. Well Joshua was waiting for his turn to get his phone, I went to Starhub to get my SIM card and to my surprise I saw my evil twin!!! HAHA :) Ohyes, Jasmine! :D She had already finished Alevels and was waiting for her Universities Admissions. She was the one who was serving me, so we took the time to just catch up :D Hahaha. Heard she just finished her interview at NUS Nursing, and was waiting for another interview next week with either NTU or SMU. Ohgosh, it sounds really stressful, but I know she will do just fine :D Jiayous Jasmine! After all those issues done, I went back to Joshua and my mother to wait for him to finish settling his stuff. Genevieve came by as well and met up with my elder brother, and Baby did so too! Since he already finished work and was around in Tampines. My mother went home first after we finished borrowing her NIRC and she was feeling rather tired. I went with Baby and took a ride home with him. Joshua and Genevieve stayed on in Tampines as Joshua was getting his hair cut. When Baby and I reached the void deck, I saw my mother just walking across the road, so we waited for her. Haha :) Such a coincidence eh? Baby and I quickly had our delicious dinner - fried macaroni with beef, onions, peppers all mixed together. It was one of my mother's specialty! And I'm glad Baby liked it as well! :D Hoorays! Now we are just laying back and just spending time with each other. I guess it should be any time now that I should get back to studying :P Hahaha. Toodles~! ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby champouf posted Starbux. on Sunday, April 10, 2011 " Two worlds apart. " Today was a superb day :) It was actually quite a simple day .. with me going home straight after school and taking a break before I hit the books. Then I waited for Baby to come home from work. At first, I was thinking of meeting Baby after his work to treat him to dinner, but then my grandmother had already cooked our share of dinner so we ended up having dinner at home. BUT! The dinner was still great! My grandmother and my maid cooked up a huge Western feast! I ate until my stomach was just bursting. Then I wanted to bring Baby out for Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream! But he said he felt bad for letting me treat something so expensive .. so in the end we decided on Starbucks! :) Baby's favourite cafe! So we took a ride there and we were glad that Starbucks was not as crowded as we always thought it would be. Baby chose this extreme delight Chocolate Peanut Butter stack! Omg, from one look of it, I knew it was filled with nothing but pure fats .. but who cares?! Hahaha it was once in a while, so I decided to indulge in it for today :) Baby also chose his most favourite Green Tea Latte in VENTI! Hahaha. And the foam was just super delicious. It tastes so pao-pao at the same time the warmth of it just tickles your throat - a simply delightful feeling. And here are some pictures we took using the brand new IPHONE 4!!!!!!!! RAWR. Hahaha :) This is the SUPREME Chocolate Peanut Butter stack I was talking about. The peanut butter is made of caramel, sweet-coated on the top layer of this wonderful snack. And along with it comes layers and layers of chocolate mixed with crunchy biscuit. Omg. It is absolutely sinful! My Baby! Isn't he such a pretty boy? Hahaha if you minus off the huge bulging intimidating muscles, I think he can pass off as a really pretty boy :) Heehee. Baby's love of his life - hot green tea latte with extra foam. Omg just heavenly. And if you plus the two of them together, it makes quite a deadly combo! :D Hahaha. Ohright, before I sign off, I just want to let everybody know that it is indeed wonderful if your boyfriend can pass off as your really good friend. Because just then, while we were at Starbucks, we didn't do any mushy mushy hug/kisses/romantic talk etc .. we were just laughing at each other like how I laugh at him farting in public or how he laugh at my sudden mood swings etc. I find that Baby and I can talk to each other on topics which most girl/boyfriends do not talk to their partners with. I'm just glad and really fortunate to have a boyfriend of whom I can converse in on all levels/topics. Be it sensitive, emotional, childish, bitchy, random, etc etc. Ohgosh, I love him so much :D So yes, if your boyfriend seems to be like a good friend, it might not be a bad sign afterall! Because I know damn well for sure that Baby and I have a super long way to go! :) ♥♥♥♥Loving Cheer with Baby champouf posted Updates. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 " I'm trying to find myself ... " Finally the weekends are here!! :D I feel so at ease now that I can finally wake up at a more suitable hour!! HOORAY! But then, I realised that I have Economics Tuition at 9.30am. I'm starting tuition again because I guess I really need the help for Economics! Hahaha :P But the thing is ... yesterday, Baby and I watched this super late Korean movie. It was a movie marathon at home! It was about the war between North and South Korea and it was really really scary. The movie was about these few convicts who are sentenced to the death penalty, but instead they all are posted to some army camp where they are going to raid the North Korea's President house and kill him. It is like some kind of suicide mission and since they are death convicts, none of those matters. And well yea, the story goes on and on and until Baby and I got distracted by other stuff and we stopped watching at around 2+am where we just stumbled to sleep. Hahaha :P It was quite a fail movie marathon. So right, my tuition was supposed to start at 9.30am today and I woke up at 9.15am. So I had to quickly bathe, prepare my notes and everything! Thank goodness she came slightly late :P Haha. Anyways, I think she is a really good teacher because she is funny, she can really connect with me and yes she teaches really well that I can really understand what was going on :) So hoorays! :D The tuition was about 1.5hrs and it felt like just half an hour just went by. Amazing isn't it? Hahaha :) How I wished that my class lessons were like this too! :( Right, let me update on my past week too~! Baby and I have this thing where we are trying out different restaurants and seeing how delicious their food is :) And I am like totally enjoying myself! Because I get to try different styles of the way the food is cooked and I even get to critic how nice/horrible the taste was :D Awesome-ness and besides I'm quite tired of the same usual food. So it is like once a week, we try out different types of restaurants. The most recent one we went was the XinWang HongKong Cafe. The curry there was superb! But their pork chops need a bit of tuning because the taste and the texture was quite bad :( But since my tongue was burning from the curry, I just ate the pork chops! Hahaha. The presentation of food was alright, not too fancy, not too shabby, but it could use a little creativity though :P Pork Chop!! I love the French Fries. Super nice :) DIMSUM!!! OMG. Super delicious :) Heehee. Baby's favourite 排骨肉! :D Another shot :) CHICKEN CURRY!! Baby and my favourite :) SUPERB. Now, Baby and I are eyeing another restaurant at Tampines1. I forgot the name of it but it is just right beside the escalator nearest to the Mrt :) Baby and I wanted to try it last week but I wasn't feeling well so we canceled our dinner plans, but yea, we are still dying to try out that restaurant! Plus Waraku at Tampines1 as well! Booyah :D Well that's all I have for this post .. I have no idea what else to write actually .. bummer! Hahaha :) Toodles~! Got to start training for Napfa Test!!
