It's been like SUPER long since I last blogged. And the most exciting event that had happened within the course of that seemingly long period was none other than my BabyMelon's 24th Birthday!! :D Planning it was not easy, but I'm so glad that I managed to surprise him (even though it was quite fail) and gave him a memorable day of celebrating his birthday in Singapore.

Baby has always told me how his birthday would coincide with his Nationals Cheerleading Competition, so even on his birthday, he would rush down to train many hours before getting to celebrate his birthday with Gusto. So I thought maybe now that he doesn't have any more trainings, I could organize an easy-going night for my Baby's birthday. And the planning took flight! Well, it was quite hard doing the planning since I've got to mug for my CTs as well, but everything worked out in the end! :D

On that day, Vivian and Bob came by early since it was the holidays and helped me with some preparation. The cake has already been baked the day before by my mother and I and it was GOOD! :) Around 6+pm, Baby smsed me saying that he got off from work early which was bad news for me as Yongli hasn't arrived yet to surprise him! So I fetched Baby from the bus stop, and tried to stall for time like going to 7/11 to get bread or hanging around by our 城堡recalling the memories of how we first met etc etc etc ... But Baby was already suspecting something so I brought him up to the house and when he saw Vivian and Bob's shoes, I thought the surprise was already gone! LOL. But funny way how that works, I brought Baby into the kitchen and when Bob just said a simple "Yo." Baby got so shocked that he jumped and screamed like a little girl, and he even had toe cramps due to the surprise! Hahahaha, it was super funny to see how he reacted. It was then when Yongli finally arrived, sadly he wasn't able to surprise Baby but we were just glad to see him :P

We brought the food out and started our little feast while talking about random stuff. It felt good to have dinner with good friends and just chat about simple things in life. Hahaha, oh those were the days.

Well, after eating so much and slacking pretty long, we all decided to head down to do some stunts. Hahahah! Can you believe it!!!!!!!!!!!! :P Baby missed doing Cupie with his daughter so I thought perhaps this was the best opportunity to do so! :D So we went to the playground which have a somewhat spongy mat as its base, and let Baby work his magic! :D Yea, he did Cupie a few times with our 女儿, before it was my turn to do single liberty up there. Well I did managed to stay up there for a while before falling. Gosh so embarrassing :P Hahaha. And then it was Bob and Yongli's turn to do single extension! :D Can tell that they are still super strong! Hahaha. After stunting for a while, 女儿and I were complaining of mosquito bites so we went back home. LOL. Super itchy can! :S Back at home, it was time to feast on the cake! Muahahaha.


I'm glad everybody loved the cake because it was actually my first time baking such a huge cake but yea ... Hahahaha :P I guess the most important thing was that nobody died of food poisoning, since I wasn't so confident of my baking skills. Hahahaha! :P Cheerios~
Right, before they went off, Baby had a look at his Birthday Presents and I'm so glad that he liked all of them :)

And well, our 女儿had to go off early because she stayed quite far away and it was dangerous for a little girl to walk home so late at night ... Baby and I fetched them down and thanked them for coming before heading up. I hoped Baby had a wonderful time that day, even though I couldn't get most of his friends to come ... T.T It was my first time celebrating my Baby's birthday so I hope that it was a memorable day for him :)
