champouf posted SakaeSushi. on Sunday, September 25, 2011  I've always been a fan of Sakae Sushi, and their buffet their are just fab even though I'm not the type who can really gorge myself on buffets. But this time, when Baby and I went to Sakae, we had something a little different from our usual. Baby had this sudden urge to eat it after trying it for the first time with his client the other day, and he felt that I would totally love it since it had one key ingredient inside that makes me go nuts whenever I see it. YEP - SHIITAKE~! OMG :) Those thingys are like heaven to me. I can eat it for one whole week without feeling sick of it. I'M DEAD SERIOUS! :D SO anyways, Baby brought me to Sakae Sushi at Bugis to try it out :) And it was just magnificent I tell ya.  This is the one I ordered - salmon baked. Can you see the shiitake bubbling from the bottom of the bowl? :) Bliss~ So anyways this is something like a hot plate.. only difference is that it is being served on a bowl. Under the bowl, there is this small stove which helps cooks the meal, and rest assure, the paper is of a material that doesn't burn easily and it helps to filter the soup to make it fresh!  And here we have Baby's meal! He ordered such a HUGE set and it is super worth it! They have chawamushi, salmon, fried tofu etc... Amazing isn't it? And the best thing is that this meal is actually for two people ... because seriously it is TOO DAMN BIG.  And of course no meal is complete without my tamago sushi :) Heehee.  Check out my classic apple-peach juice. Super chio bottle right? Hahahaha it's going to be my new water bottle from now onwards :) And yes it tastes awesome too!  No day is complete without a picture of the two of us~♥ Awwwwww... Ohright, and another thing I forgot to mention was ... Baby and I watched Johnny English Reborn on the first day it was aired~ Omg :) Heavenly. Thank goodness Baby managed to secure tickets online with extra charge of course :( But heck! IT was bloody amazing~! HILARIOUS throughout the whole movie. Baby was laughing hysterically like 90% through the movie, along with other people in the cinema. Hahahahaha. I give it a definite 9.5/10!!!!!! Rowan Atkinson has always been one of my favourite comedy actors even since the debut of Mr.Bean Classics, along Mr.Bean Animation and even the movie. Now along with two action-kick-ass Johnny English movies, he just gets even more amazing every moment. He is like a living legend of Charlie Chaplin - without having the need to speak, he is able to relay and portray his every emotions, thoughts through his actions fluently (Mr.Bean) ... it is just mind-blowing. And in Johnny English, being given a voice (he has a freaking beautiful British accent!) he shone even brightly. SO!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD DEFINITELY GO AND CATCH JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN!!!
