" Be my Cupcake! "
Whees the past few days have been really awesome! School hours are short (compared to others!) and the best part is that since Thursday, the school arranged the J2s for subject days!! Which means we have no lessons and basically we just attend activities the school has for us. This is in lieu with none other than VJC J1 Orientation! That's right, the newbies are coming in and excitement is no doubt in the air. These freshmen are going to be young adults any time soon and it's actually quite interesting to see that development because now all I see are just somewhat premature teens who still seem quite baby-ish to me. LOL. Unfortunately for us J2s is that we have to squeeze in the pathetic small canteen again as with the arrival of the J1s, it's going to be crowded like hell! Damnnnnn .. not to mention we have the IP students :S Hahaha.
ANYWAYS, for yesterday's activity, I was supposed to go to China Town but then I didn't sign up for that, so I went to watch the Movie 21 at Lt4 instead! That was the original activity I signed up for :) I forgot that the activity started at 8:45am, so I was damn early! I reached about 7:30am and I went to one of the classrooms to sleep since Melissa and the rest weren't there yet. Melissa came around 8am and I met her at the canteen with Boh. Then we went to the Lecture hall where we reserved seats for Chengling and Michelle who were late. They came late because Chengling woke up late. Haha, but they didn't miss much! The movie 21 was DAMN good! It involves a group of people playing Blackjack and they had a real high chance of winning every hand because they knew how to count cards, a technique which helps one to calculate his possibility of beating the dealer's hand. So it was like really mind-blowing. They each had their own techniques and there was a teacher who guided them throughout, until he became a bad guy because one of the students screwed up and he robbed that guy for about $315K. Madness. In the end, all was solved and the teacher deserved the fate he was thrown in for being too greedy and it was a happy ending! Hahaha. The whole lecture hall was bustling with glee after the movie because they all thought that if they learned counting too, they could beat at Blackjack, but the teacher explained that the success rate of it in reality is only a measly 1% per hour. So you have got to play hundreds of hours to win big. Booo :( After the movie, we wanted to grab lunch together, but I decided to go home first because I was EXTREMELY exhausted.
Today's activity was Film Appreciation, which we watched some local short story films and hear the some speaker share about the grounds of film making. Before that, I woke up super late and I met Chengling at the VJC busstop and we were caught late, so we had to write our names down. Crap. Haha. Right, back to the topic, the films were all really interesting! One was about some Freedom Rights in Singapore, another was about a shooting that happened in Malaysia, another was about a Singapore guy marrying overseas to a Vietnam woman and the last was about Singapore's story back then a long time ago. I enjoyed the 3rd one the most - the one about international marriage. Actually in my opinion, it was not exactly deemed as international marriage because the guy went to a matchmaking group in Vietnam and just chose a girl and after a few days, they got married! So it was more like buying a wife? But his wife was really pretty! Something which Teri and I agreed on a lot. Hahaha. The guy was like 30+, going on 40, and the girl was only 19 years old!! Omg. It's like almost twice her age and I felt really disgusted. At least the man treated her well. He bought for her jewelry and even arranged an official marriage in Vietnam which he also invited the girl's family and relatives. Then 4 days later, he went back to Singapore while the girl stayed in Vietnam to finish up some paperwork about her passport and Visa. Teri and I thought that it was a happy ending since the girl seemed quite happy about marrying the Singapore man because he was richer and more 'civilized' than the Vietnam man, BUT we were terribly wrong!! Omgggosh. It's like 3months after she arrived in Singapore to stay with him, he sent her back to Vietnam and she sort of disappeared and was not contactable since then. It was like he only married her for the sake of it, like obeying his mother's orders, then when that is done, he just sent her back. Omg. How heartless. I thought they would live together and have children and tell of the tale to their children. BUT NO! OMG. I guess that is why we can't really trust match-making industries since they only care about doing business and no matter whether the relationship really worked out or not, they still get paid nevertheless. Thank goodness I don't believe in match-making procedures, especially the whole buy-a-bride-overseas-crap. Anyways, putting that depressing story aside, I remembered that inside the LT, I was damn cold so I would go outside and walk around for a while. And once I met Zongda! :) Hahaha actually he saw me inside the girl's toilet so he called out for me. So we went to the canteen to grab some munch and went to see how the J1 orientation was. He met some of his few juniors who called him Head Prefect. Haha hilarious ttm :P After the whole activity ended, Teri, Chengling and I went to the canteen which they celebrated my birthday along with Aidil, Melissa and Sharon Quo. Haha it was definitely a pleasant surprise and Melissa gave me a few cupcakes which she baked by herself! It was DELICIOUS. Mygosh. SO DARN GOOD. I shared the other cupcakes with them and they too agreed with me. They gave me an elephant soft toy for my birthday and OMGOSH IT IS SUPER ADORABLE!!! :P Heehee. THANK GUYS! I LOVE IT A LOT!! :D I'm thinking of whether I should name it Chengling JR. LOL.
So right, after the mini celebration, I went home! Because I was feeling really tired again. LOL no idea why exhaustion keeps catching up with me these few days :P Ohright another thing! My Baby was super cute last night. He was waiting up on Facebook for the clock to reach 12:00am so that he would be the first one to wish me a Happy Birthday on Facebook! Hahaha how adorable is that!! :P And when the clock strike 12am, he quickly posted it and gave me my present! Of course I already knew what it was because I kept pestering him all day (even at home) to give me clues and more clues. Then I guessed it correct after one long day! Hahaha Baby was quite sad because it was no longer a surprise ... but I still love it a lot :) If you are wondering what he gave me, he gave me this Gucci perfume which is super expensive, more expensive than my $129 sneakers. Hahaha. SO THANK YOU BABY!!!

I love the smell a lot!! It makes me smell ... more matured. Haha :) Muacks to my Baby. And I can't wait for today's birthday celebration among my family and Baby. Heehee. Of course including my new maid! She is a really friendly person! Whenever I prepare to go to school, she would send me off at the door and say byebye. And when I return home, she will say hi to me! :D Heehee. Really friendly! And I hope she will feel comfortable at home too! Heehee.
Right, I hope that tomorrow won't rain! Because Zongda, Yongli, Baby and I are thinking of going Sentosa to suntan and after that, Baby would want to do some CNY shopping because he is coming along with me to visit my relatives. PLEASE DON'T RAINNNNN!!! Or else I would be stoning like a zombie for the next few days ....
Loving Cheerleading and Baby with No Boundaries {♥}
PS: I'm soooo going to get fat today, with my mother and grandmother cooking a HUGE meal + cake + Melissa's super special awesome cupcakes .. I'm sooo going to put on weight .... hahahaha :P But it is worth it!! :)
